Description
+ Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming shipment. Record the correct count and pallet type for input upon completion of the PO.
+ Record shipment data into computer system, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping purposes. Maintain accurate counts on inbound freight to insure appropriate warehouse storage availability.
+ Assist with maintaining an accurate inventory through cycle/directed counting. Research customer service issues including, but not limited to shortages, overages and damages and recommend appropriate response.
+ Monitor warehouse management system for open invoices.
+ Support the even flow from receiving to shipping and communicate issues and concerns. Identify and monitor high volume and high dollar items during shipping process.
+ Label all pallets to be stocked and verify accuracy of inbound freight received by comparing the purchase order with the bill of lading. Record discrepancies on bill of lading and inform clerk and/or appropriate management of damage and inventory shortages

You will contribute by:
+ Preventative Maintenance: With oversight, conduct asset inspection by item level task. Complete small repairs, post PM inspection. Successful inspection post PM completion for completeness and within parameters. Perform FHWA successfully (with shadow)
+ Work Aptitude & Technical Abilities: Participate in supporting other technicians to glean skills and expertise. Follow ongoing cycle of reading, classroom environment, observe expert executing repair and then demonstrate skill and proficiency for each critical learning by system

You will contribute by:
+ Coordinating customer contracts by monitoring all outbound costs to customers. Partner with the manufacturing community to ensure the most up-to-date and competitive pricing, managing regional brackets and exceptions as needed.
+ Managing all future price increases and decreases submitted by the manufacturing community, ensuring all upcoming deals, off-invoice adjustments, and customized pricing are accurately reflected and communicated to customers.
+ Monitoring billings produced by the team, including flyer, bottle deposit, and customized promotional deals, along with all billings applied to the gross profit budget line.
+ Reviewing and communicating item and vendor attribute errors to ensure data accuracy and efficient order processing. Monitor system attributes and flags to ensure proper product flow.
+ Communicating with customers daily. Oversee associate tracking spreadsheets to monitor progress on new items, and review cost comparison reports to identify and resolve pricing variances.
+ Running sales reports to validate customer credits or rebills owed. Investigate and reconcile cost mismatches between C&S and customers.
+ Supporting at least one merchandiser in weekly tasks related to gross profit management and the development of merchandising and marketing plans for our East Coast independent customer base.

Summary:

+ Influencing customer decision-making on key improvement initiatives.
+ Managing new business start-ups after handover from the New Business Development group.
+ Coordinating operational planning for key customer events, including holiday planning, grand openings, anniversary sales, and major in-store events.
+ Communicating and managing changes to company operational policies and procedures.
+ Managing business continuity events as needed.
+ Traveling frequently to retail store locations, approximately 30%.
We're searching for candidates with:
+ Strong retail operations background required.
+ In-depth knowledge of supply chain preferred.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Strong analytical and business acumen.
+ Proven project management skills.
+ Proficiency with technical and computer systems.
+ Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
+ 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
