We decided to bring you a list of the best states for jobs for cab drivers, considering how big the profession is in the United States. Cab driver positions are available in every area, but not all places are the same -- they do not offer the same wages, benefits, time off, etc. Our research shows that Massachusetts is the best state in the country for cab drivers. The most common schools for cab drivers are Ashford University, San Francisco State University, and Arizona State University, and the most common majors are business and criminal justice.
We figured that the best places for cab driver jobs has three things everyone would agree on. There would be high annual wages, good career prospects (no matter what phase of the career you are in), and a lot of job opportunities. Our research put Washington at no. 1 on the list of best paying states for cab drivers. North Dakota, Massachusetts, and Vermont also ranked high on our list.
