As an Airport Shuttle Driver, you will provide efficient and friendly service and have the responsibility of ensuring our passengers, crew and luggage are transported safely between the terminal and aircraft.
Responsible for operating shuttle vehicles in various weather and visibility conditions.
Shuttles are driven in areas congested with aircraft, as well as moving and stationary vehicles and equipment.
Airport shuttles may have a gross weight of 3,000 to 80,000 lbs.

Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended state commercial driver's license; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role
Active USDOT medical certification

Current Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) medical certificate is required, where applicable
Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 lbs.
Willing and able to work rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating days off
Flexible to work additional hours with short notice when operationally necessary
Possess the legal right to work in the United States
Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
One year of previous customer service experience preferred
Previous working experience transporting passengers preferred
Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand Spanish (in some locations) preferred
Must be able to perform all duties under sometimes stressful conditions beyond the employee's control while attempting to influence a favorable impression of American Eagle, American Airlines or any other contracted airline service provided by Envoy
Must be able to work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on-time, and be self-motivated
Must be able to successfully clear both a non-DOT/DOT pre-employment drug screening and driving history check in accordance to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)

About the Position:
As an airport shuttle driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers to and from the airport in a safe and timely manner.
