JBI Interiors Company is currently hiring for a full-time Millwork Assembler / Cabinet Builder to assemble prefabricated cabinets prior to shipment in Phoenix, AZ . This carpentry position earns a competitive wage of $15.00 – $19.00/hr , depending on experience.

DAY-TO-DAY
In this woodworking position, you have the important job of making sure our prefabricated components are professionally assembled and ready to ship. You show up on time for your shifts with a positive attitude, eager to get started on the day's millwork projects. Attentive to detail, you review drawings and instructions to ensure proper assembly. Knowledgeable about cabinet construction and basic carpentry techniques, you competently use woodworking tools such as a pocket screw machine, a boring machine, and a hand router. You also utilize power tools including a cordless drill, a nail gun, and a screw gun.
You enjoy the hands-on nature of your work and take a meticulous approach as you file, glue, and nail materials. Competent with a measuring tape and familiar with the metric system of measurement, you use your basic carpentry skills to construct doors, drawers, and drawer facings. You also install hardware elements including hinges, catches, and knobs. You love seeing the product come together as you hang doors and assemble toe kicks. Finally, you visually inspect the finished cabinets to ensure they meet our high standard of quality. REQUIREMENTS FOR A MILLWORK ASSEMBLER / CABINET BUILDER
- Knowledge of cabinet construction
- Experience with carpentry hand tools as well as power tools
- Familiarity with the metric measuring system
- Ability to lift 100 lbs
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
- Ability to bend, stoop, and stand throughout the shift
