Days: 10-hour shifts starting between 5 & 6 am
Nights start at 5 pm: Your Schedule, Your Choice, Your Premium Pay.
M-F 8 hrs. or 10 hrs.

Retirees- work a part-time schedule on days or nights and receive a benefits package.
FUNCTION:
To ensure that parts are finished and conforming to specifications through cleaning, deburring, polishing or grinding using hand tools and /or a tumbler deburr unit.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
Parts are finished according to specifications and standard shop practices.
Parts are constantly handled and protected properly and safely.
Work standards are consistently met or improved.
Wasted effort and material is constantly sought and eliminated.
Constantly seeks additional work to ensure high levels of productivity are achieved.
Duties are constantly performed in a safe manner to ensure compliance with safety specifications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scrapes or rubs part with a file, a wire brush or a buffing cloth.
Loads and unloads a tumbler deburr unit.
Deburrs or polishes parts.
Cleans interior surfaces of holes.
Changes tools on powered equipment.
Applies abrasive compound, wax or other dressing to facilitate cleaning or polishing operation.
Uses a flex-arm tap devise as well as hand tap holes when required.
DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid forklift license.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE/SKILL
One or more years satisfactory performance as a finisher.
Able to read blueprints and travelers.
RELATIONSHIPS:
Develops close working relationship with material handlers and quality control personnel.
Demonstrates a highly cooperative demeanor with other employees and willingly takes the initiative to help others succeed.
