Must be able to work at heights above 20', which includes climbing a ladder, and in various weather conditions. Technical Skills: Proficient in cable pulling techniques, and cable termination, including fiber optic splicing and copper crimping. Familiarity with testing equipment and tools used in the industry. Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license. Certifications in Single Man Lift, fiber optic and copper cabling (e.g., BICSI, FOA) and OSHA 10 or 30 certification are a plus. Ensuring all internal processes, procedures, and contractual repair timelines are adhered to. Walk the facility, Pods and Units daily to include tasks such as inspecting tablets and initiating trouble tickets for issues as needed and ensure access points are functioning and report to FSM with issues. Meet daily with the facility Point of Contact (POC) to provide updates on known issues as well as gather any new feedback for newly identified issues Manage all day-to-day support functions including minor maintenance of tablets, ensuring all applications on the tablets are functioning properly, and maintaining a daily accurate listing of tablets issued, tablets on the shelf, tablets requiring repair and return. Provide a weekly summary report to the Field Service Manager (FSM) Visit dedicated worksite daily or assigned facilities during scheduled dates if assigned more than one. Initiate and execute trouble resolution guidelines provided for Tablet Resolution before acknowledging the need to replace tablet(s) under RMA protocol. Position Overview: The Tier 4 AVL Installation Technician will work closely with the Project Manager and/or the Tier 5 Installation Technician to coordinate all project requirements, and then to work with installation teams, ensuring successful completion of the project. This position will provide opportunities to act onsite in a supportive leadership role for the assigned installation and team, under the guidance and direction of the Project Manager and/or Tier 5 Installation Technician.
