As a Control Room Operator for Coterra, you are responsible for monitoring and supporting field operations in a 24/7 control room. The operator will need to respond to events in a timely manner and manage events until resolution. This position will support Coterra's goals for safe operations, emissions' reductions, improved runtime, and lowered operating cost. The position will dispatch field personnel to locations and create work orders for tracking of event specific activities. The Control Room Operator will help diagnose issues through the interpretation of SCADA data and communicate to appropriate staff members. This position requires an individual to solve a range of mid-level to difficult operational challenges which requires a detail-oriented skill set with exceptional problem-solving skills. This position does require a rotating shift, including nights, weekends and holidays, and is located in Midland, Texas.

Monitor and respond to upset conditions on remote well/facility locations
Turn data into actionable responses, prioritizing suggestions and recommendations to operations

Work with field staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Learn new procedures; refresh procedures as needed; perform training as necessary

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Thorough understanding of typical upstream facility process flows - tank batteries, compressor stations, SWDs, gathering systems, etc.
Knowledge on operational responses to standard field issues
Experience with SCADA software, process trending, and data analysis
Familiarity with data flows from the field device into SCADA
Ability to work a rotational schedule consisting of both day and night shifts
Ability to multitask and maintain detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with various types of control devices such as Allen Bradley, Fisher ROC, Total Flow, etc.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point and Project)
