Works in accordance with FlexSteel's Quality Management System and Customer requirements, as well as supports other manufacturing operations, where required. Ensures completed components are staged and stored in such a way that no damage will occur while in transit to the next operation. Follows all 5S practices and supports lean activities, such as, Kaizen events, MDI, and problem solving. Maintains production requirements and goals in the weld area by populating hour by hour boards, clocking into and out of work orders, and working to meet production standards and meet Customer delivery expectations. Works as part of multi-functional team to promote continuous improvements to safety, quality, efficiency, productivity, and product development. Other duties assigned by Shift Team Lead.
