The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional Food & Beverage service to our Club members and guests.
Inspecting the bar before each respective shift to ensure adequate product, equipment, and supplies are available and acquiring additional supplies as needed throughout a shift.
Maintaining and regularly cleaning equipment, floors, surfaces, and coolers to ensure a hygienic and organized workspace.
Following meticulous set-up and break-down procedures to maintain a well-organized and efficient bar. Adhere to specific set-up requirements such as Banquet Bars and Private Events.
Preparing garnishes, cocktails, and pre-mixed drinks with precision and conformity.
Warmly greeting Members & Guests while delivering exceptional, personable service in accordance Oakmont Country Club's standards.
Offering recommendations, answering questions, and suggesting menu items with a keen understanding of menu offerings and ingredients with consideration of dietary restrictions & allergies.
Taking and relaying orders, special requests, modifications, or cooking instructions from Members & Guests, ensuring accurate and efficient communication with the kitchen via. Oakmont's Northstar Point-of-Sale system.
Promptly reporting any Member or Guest issues, complaints, or suggestions to Leadership.
Attending pre-shift meetings to stay informed and prepared; Must arrive “Member Ready”; Timely, Prepared, Hygienic, and ready to service Members and their respective Guests.
Comply with health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
Verifying the accuracy of all charges on checks and Member Name and Number, presenting checks professionally.
Attentively, and cooperatively completes all opening, on-shift, and closing side work duties or other duties, as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications
Ability to frequently lift objects up to 50lbs; Occasionally maneuver objects up to 164lbs (Kegs).
Capability to stand for extended periods, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and reach; Capability to perform continuous repetitive motions.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, aligning with the nature of Oakmont Country Club's demands.
General working knowledge of Bar Service & Etiquette, Mixology, Wine, Beer, Liquor, and Food Service.
RAMP Certification (Required - 30 Days after Hire).
Exceptional communication skills to ensure effective coordination in a dynamic work environment.
Friendly and cooperative demeanor to engage seamlessly with Members, Guests, and Staff.
Demonstrate ability to remain calm and professional in a face-paced work setting.
Previous bartending and Northstar (POS) experience is a plus.
