CAE provides training for civil aviation, defense and security, and healthcare in global markets. While it strives to be recognized as a global partner of choice, CAE makes its employees a priority with a sense of belonging before anything else.
Diving Into the Values at CAE
Teamwork is what defines CAE. The passionate team is made up of employees striving to help each other succeed with the same end goal in mind. CAE is committed to creating a culture where all employees are valued for their talents and contributions while maintaining a fun atmosphere. This is in line with the five values that they uphold at CAE:
From CAE's engineering rap, where employees all over the globe came together to produce a rap video, to women's leadership development, CAE truly has something to offer everyone.
Hip and Happening
Keeping It Real at CAE
It's no question CAE knows how to make working there fun. In addition to the Engineering Rap they came up with, employees also enjoy annual Innovation Challenges. The annual contest gives employees a platform to bring forward new ideas, but in a fun way.
Everyone is divided into teams and each team is placed in a specific division. Then each team is given 20 minutes to convince the judges to invest in their ideas. Sound intense and competitive? It is, but in a fun, game night way.
Open Arms
Everyone is Welcome at CAE
As the President and CEO Marc Parent puts it, "Diversity is important to me, first and foremost because it's the right thing to do. And I say that as a father. The last thing I would want is for my son to have more opportunities than my two daughters would have."
CAE has proven it will go above and beyond to foster a culture of diversity and inclusion. The company received bronze-level of the Parity Certification by Women in Governance for its efforts of ensuring an equal amount of resources for all genders. In addition, CAE was selected to be featured in the 2019 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index for being transparent in its commitment to creating gender equality.
CAE strives to provide an open-door policy extended to all employees in ensuring everyone feels welcome, respected and heard. By providing a diverse culture, the talent that makes up CAE is more innovative and successful. In addition, to ensure that everyone is on the same page all employees must read the Diversity and Inclusion philosophy and policy on their first day. At CAE, you are the most valuable asset.
