GENERAL FUNCTION:
Supervises and monitors the workflow, productivity, quality, risk control, and team engagement of the cash vault non-exempt employees. Ensures staff compliance with Bancorp policies and procedures as well as the Cash Vault procedures and controls.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank#s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and supervise the day-to-day workflow in the Cash Vault.Responsible for prioritizing work and delegating tasks to ensure proper coverage of daily functions.Ensure that production standards and quality standards are met and maintained.Ensure that vault procedures and controls are followed at all times.Ensure vault employees have appropriate access levels to systems/programs needed to perform their jobs.Maintain optimum efficiency and cost effectiveness in a high volume environment.Oversee and assist in resolving escalated operational issues, customer service issues and employee issues in a timely manner.Oversee the training of new hires, ensuring a full understanding of the cash vault procedures and controls as well as the Bancorp procedures.Meet individually with non-exempt staff on a monthly basis to discuss monthly productivity and quality numbers.Conduct departmental meetings.Schedule service calls for equipment repairs.Ensure employees complete all annual compliance courses.Perform quality checks of departmental work in accordance with the monthly self-assessment procedures.Suggest new techniques to improve productivity to manager.Serve as departmental resource for ongoing questions and problem solving on difficult issues.Approve/verify deposit discrepancies and error corrections.Familiarity with all essential duties and responsibilities of the non-exempt staff.May be responsible for the periodic management of the entire cash vault.Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback, developing employees to their fullest potential, developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning, and recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
High School diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree preferred.Two (2) years banking operations experience preferably in a comparable environment.

Cash Vault Supervisor (M-F 4pm-12am)

Delaware North Gaming is searching for full-time Cage and Vault Supervisors to join our team at Orange City Poker Room in Orange City, Florida. As a Cage Supervisor, you will supervise the daily operations of the Cashier Cage and Main Bank. Our successful candidate will deliver high-level guest service and associate relations in accordance with Delaware North operating standards and state and federal laws. Full time $18 - 19.00/Hour!

**Responsibilities**

+ Oversee cage operations.

+ Enforce all policies, procedures and internal controls.

+ Supervise Cage Cashiers and Main Bankers.

+ Reconcile daily cashier drawers and main bank accountability.

+ Handle guest complaints in a timely manner to the satisfaction of the guest and the company.

+ Actively promote an environment that is conducive to high quality service and employee relations using positive leadership skills.

+ Assist in staffing, scheduling, evaluating, developing and monitoring associates.

+ Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

+ Ability to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.

+ Minimum of 2 years' supervisory or management experience required.

+ Cash handling experience required.

+ Ability to multi task during high volume times.

+ Handle large amounts of money accurately, honestly, and in a professional manner.

+ Intermediate computer skills including spreadsheets and word processing.

+ Excellent communication and guest service skills.

+ Ability to work well with guests, vendors, and associates

+ Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends as required.

**Physical Requirements**

+ Ability to lift 30 lbs occasionally.

+ Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

+ Must able to bend and lift as needed.

+ Gaming environment, noise levesl may be moderate-to-high, including exposure to second-hand smoke.

The Vault Supervisor is responsible for supervising the vault operations including currency and firearms. This position ensures accountability and the security of all liability and prioritizes daily operations workflow. The Vault Supervisor assists the management team in the secure, safe and efficient functioning of the branch.

This position functions in an armed environment. This position requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Brink's and its customers.


Key Responsibilities:


Provide first line supervision to Vault employees

Oversee daily vault operations including but not limited to inventory management, opening and closing of branch and vault check in/out

Provide coaching and skill development to employees on a consistent basis

Monitor and adjust performance of all staff, machines and workflows

Leverage systems, equipment and process redesign to drive continuous improvement in quality and efficiency

Secure inventories by executing controls and ensuring strict compliance with security procedures

Maintain and provide quality customer service and good communications with the customer base

Ensure activities are performed in compliance with company policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws and regulations

Maintain accurate records, handle customer inquiries, and balance transactions daily

Assist Management as need to meet branch goals

Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:


Minimum of 3 years operations experience in a vault, cash or coin processing environment

Minimum of 21 years of age

A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing

A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses


Preferred Qualifications:


Supervisory experience in a production environment

Cash handling experience in the secure logistics or banking industry

Experience in a coin processing environment

Knowledge of lean/process improvement methodologies

Knowledge of budgeting and planning experience

Bachelor's Degree
