They are responsible for providing individual clinical services and appropriate assessments for Boys Ranch residents utilizing a strength-based approach, under the supervision of an LCSW or an LMSW (with 2 years post-grad experience). They will participate in the design, implementation and evaluation of Boys Ranch clinical interventions for identified residents in accordance with appropriate therapeutic practices and CFBR policy. Each intern will attend and participate in weekly team meetings for assigned clients. They will facilitate and/or co-facilitate therapeutic and/or psycho-educational groups and have opportunities to provide clinical services and support for the Equine Assisted Psychotherapy programs, Adventure Programs and other experiential learning activities. Interns are immersed into the community of care provided at CFBR and will be able to experience all aspects of care provided to residents in a General Residential Operation.
