Calamos Investments is looking to add a VP, Director of Investment Operations, to its growing Operations team. The right candidate for this role will have a minimum of 10 years' direct experience in the asset management industry, overseeing teams responsible for core, day-to-day investment support activities. The candidate must have deep knowledge and experience in multi-asset class investing, the use of derivatives, alternative investing, and private markets. Key Responsibilities:
* Ensures the Operations team meets all strategic and performance objectives as stated by executive management.
* Manages a staff of Operations professionals; maintains responsibility for hiring, training, conducting performance reviews, and providing leadership to the group. Ensures that procedures are documented, and cross-training programs are in place to provide consistent coverage.
* Develops and implements operational policies and procedures that align with the strategic initiatives of the company, clients' requirements, and the regulatory and compliance framework we operate in.

The Role
