Driver will be responsible for operating a tractor and bolster trailer picking up at logging sites. Driver will be delivering to the customers various mills and will be checked in and weighed upon entering the mill then drive to the designated location within the mill and remove the strapping and flags then proceed to the final unloading location. Driver will be operating in off road conditions which will be unpaved muddy, sandy and not always clearly marked and will need to know how to maneuver in these harsh conditions. Driver will monitor the weight via onboard scale then communicate to the loader when trailer has achieved the legal weight, driver will then secure the logs by strapping and then will flag the overhanging logs per DOT requirement. Driver will be responsible for strapping down the logs and flagging the overhang along with the safe operation of the vehicle under load while on rural back roads and State highways with final delivery at the customers mill(s).
