Service Center Cleveland TN Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for a Collision Estimator to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Writing estimates, conducting process reviews, checking in customer vehicles, completing final customer paperwork prior to vehicle delivery (DRP, final invoice), finalizing total loss administration and providing post repair plan communication including all vehicle status updates to customers while complying with all Caliber safety rules, guidelines and company standards.

REQUIREMENTS
* 2+ years of collision estimating experience; sales experience preferred
* Must be 21 years of age or older
* Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under our company insurance policy
* Must possess a Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraisers License
ABILITIES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
* Ability to do consistent physical activity - reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs
* Must have prior experience with CCC1 or similar estimating software
* You have an advance understanding and knowledge of the repair process/procedures
* Strong sales orientation
* Be able to understand instructions - written and verbal
* Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment

About the Position
The Repair Planners/Estimators at D&S Automotive lead the team that disassembles vehicles, thoroughly inspects them for damage, and properly documents all damage. The Repair Planner/Estimator's conclusions will then be made into an estimate and submitted to the insurance company or the customer for permission.
This is a full-time opportunity that works during the 7:45 am - 5:30 pm time frame, Monday through Friday. The Repair Planners/Estimator will report to the Collision Center Manager and pay will commensurate with the chosen candidate's experience.
Essential Job Functions
Lead disassembly of vehicles and manage all documentation of damage by utilizing our estimating system and taking digital photos
Assist in establishing a realistic repair plan based on parts' delivery dates and current shop volume
Create an estimate for repairs
Explain repair process, parts used for repairs, and expectations for repairs to the customer
Work with the Parts Department to acquire needed parts to complete repair
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor(s)
Minimum Requirements
3+ years of Auto Body Estimating experience is required
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background/credit check
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365
Skillful with the CCC One estimating program or equivalent
Characteristics Sought
Organizational skills and high attention to detail
Self-disciplined
Ability to work in a team atmosphere
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

As an Automotive Body Estimator, you will be responsible for appraising vehicle damage to determine the cost of repair for insurance claim settlements. As an Estimator, you will closely with internal and external teams to ensure accurate estimates are provided.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Prepare cost analysis by summarizing various costs incurred
* Collect and analyze customer information, such as sketches, drawings or CAD data, to interpret and create estimates
* Respond to RFQs (Request for Quotes) according to organizational and customer requirements
* Identify labor, material, time requirements and costs by reading and interpreting proposals, specifications, and related documents/files
* Review actual costs of project and understand reasons for variances from estimate
Beneficial Skills and Qualifications:
* Working knowledge and understanding of tool building and/or design in an automotive environment

* Must possess a Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraisers License
ABILITIES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
* Ability to do consistent physical activity - reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs
* Must have prior experience with CCC1 or similar estimating software
* You have an advance understanding and knowledge of the repair process/procedures
* Strong sales orientation
* Be able to understand instructions - written and verbal
* Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
