Responsibilities
Serves as the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the repair process from the point of drop-off through the delivery of the completed vehicle
Prepares estimate for customer and or insurance partners according to manufacturer and Classic Collision guidelines

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for semi-complex to complex manufactured components based on customer drawings and technical requirements
Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to gather inputs for accurate product costing
Analyze historical cost data from internal systems to support estimate development and pricing strategies
Identify cost, schedule, and execution risks and communicate findings to leadership
Support continuous improvement initiatives through LEAN and structured problem-solving methodologies
Lead or support the development and implementation of standardized estimating processes and best practices
Manage the estimating portion of the RFQ lifecycle, including submission support and internal/external pricing discussions
Engage with customers across commercial and government-regulated sectors to support proposal activities
Track quotation performance metrics, including win/loss data, to inform future pricing strategies
Review customer purchase orders to ensure alignment with quoted scope and internal compliance requirements
Participate in limited travel as needed (typically less than 10%)
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in an aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred (not required)
Experience working with government-regulated programs or agencies (e.g., DoD, DCMA, or similar)
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and cost data analysis
Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, document, and execute complex tasks
Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills for working across internal teams and external stakeholders
