This position supports a variety of commercial construction projects and works closely with superintendents and other trades to deliver high-quality work safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Perform rough and finish carpentry on commercial construction projects
Assist with layout, framing, and trim carpentry
Install doors, frames, hardware, millwork, and specialty items as needed
Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
Assist other trades and perform general labor duties as required
Follow company safety policies and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
Previous commercial carpentry or construction experience preferred
Basic knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and methods
Ability to read tape measures and understand basic construction drawings
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather and jobsite conditions
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
OSHA 10 certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities:
Lead estimating efforts on complex projects across commercial, healthcare, and higher education sectors.
Prepare and present detailed and conceptual estimates throughout the design phase for commercial, healthcare, and higher education projects.
Manage and mentor junior estimators, ensuring quality and consistency.
Maintain and utilize historical cost data and centralized estimating systems.
Work with the project team to develop GMP and procurement strategies best suited for each project.
Monitor project budgets, identify and track risks, and manage scope and cost changes.
Coordinate closely with the collective team on general conditions, and general requirements specific to each project.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field and / or 5-10 years of applicable experience
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience in the following markets: Healthcare, higher education, and commercial.
Experience with the CMAR delivery method.

Oversees Quality Control by managing the submittal review process which requires understanding products and materials specified for the project and determining if the submittals are compliant with the project plans and specifications.
Ensures that all project delays are well documented and that project stakeholders are provided with frequent, regularly scheduled written documentation in a timely manner
Develops or assists in the development of all contractual claims to the Owner
