Position Summary:
Under general supervision, the Marketing Specialist will perform a wide range of tasks, but the primary day-to-day tasks will consist of creating and posting email campaigns, supporting functions in our eMarketing tools, using our platform HubSpot, and other online community systems.
Responsibilities:
Write and edit copy for email campaigns, marketing materials and websites
Respond to requests from internal staff related to web content or email marketing
Create email campaigns for announcements, event marketing, membership marketing, e-newsletters, and case alerts
Coordinate email marketing efforts for events such as conferences and webinars
Publish campaigns on all marketing channels, including email, web, and social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, etc).
Use social media marketing tools
Assist with the production of marketing materials and assets
Provide administrative and project support as it relates to email marketing efforts for a variety of association programs
Collect data and create reports related to email marketing and membership data
Assist other team members by testing proofreading, checking web links, proofreading, and other related miscellaneous tasks
Assist with the production of online events and webinars
Assist with the administration of online communities and listservs
Create online forms using software available
Update web pages while ensuring content is presented in a clear format
Perform other similar or related duties which may not be specifically included within this position description, but which are consistent within the general level of the job and the responsibilities described above
Qualifications:
Bachelors' Degree or equivalent experience
Three years' experience in a similar role, or equivalent and relevant experience
Experience working with WordPress CMS
Strong understanding of HTML and website best practices
Understanding of W3 Accessibility Standards
Experience writing copy for websites and email campaigns
Experience using email marketing software, such as HubSpot
Experience with graphic software, such as: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to use Microsoft and Google spreadsheet and word processing software

The Regional Executive Underwriter role is a hybrid position in our Roseville, CA., office.
Job Overview
This position operates as a senior technical underwriter responsible for the evaluation of small to middle market risks within a defined business territory. This position reviews individual submissions for Commercial lines to evaluate risk attributes, pricing and business fit within Company guidelines and policies. This position is responsible for building strong agency relationships to develop new business opportunities; retain a strong renewal book of business and manage the overall book to profitability metrics. The Executive Underwriter is assigned to work with the top tier and middle tier of CIG agents and is responsible for production, relationship management and service. This position represents a senior technical level of underwriting authority and is capable of the evaluation of more complex and sophisticated commercial risks within the region. The Executive Underwriter is expected to make regular production calls and develop new business production. This assignment must adhere to underwriting guidelines for service and authority. This assignment may be directed to perform other underwriting duties including quality control, mentoring, territory analysis, and agency training.
Requirements:
Knowledge of commercial lines underwriting principals, manuals and rating plans
Ability to evaluate new & renewal business to determine acceptability, pricing, and adherence to company underwriting guidelines
Familiar with property, general liability, auto and umbrella coverage
College degree (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 5 years of underwriting or agency experience preferred
Commitment to continuing education; i.e. CPCU, AU, ARM, CRM, or CIC
Salary Range: $75,902 - $125,239

The Associate Underwriter Agri-Business role is a hybrid position, and candidates may be considered from Roseville, CA., Spokane, WA., or Phoenix, AZ.
Job Overview
Under direct supervision, this position will perform entry-level underwriting duties in support of an Agri business insurance underwriting team. The Associate Underwriter will perform the preliminary review of new risks as well as assist in the renewal process for existing accounts. General duties will include the evaluation of applications, endorsements, and related underwriting documents. The Associate will review individual agri business submissions to evaluate the degree of exposure and approve, request additional information, or reject based on Company risk selection guidelines. This position functions in a production support role, but may be called upon to conduct agency visits, develop new business, and support marketing in a territory of assigned agents. The Associate Underwriter operates within a clearly defined level of delegated underwriting authority and refers risks of higher exposure or complexity to a senior underwriter. The position may also perform ancillary administrative duties for commercial accounts to support agency service objectives.

Rating plans (ISO or similar) and commercial lines coverages
Knowledge of social, economic and competitive aspects of territory assigned
