Mr. Russo has served as Calix’s president and chief executive officer since December 2002. As Calix’s president and chief executive officer, Mr. Russo brings substantial expertise and knowledge regarding our business strategy, markets and operations to Calix’s board of directors. He also brings to the Board an extensive background in the telecommunications and networking technology industries. From November 1999 to May 2002, Mr. Russo served as vice president of optical strategy and group vice president of optical networking of Cisco Systems, Inc. From April 1998 to October 1999, Mr. Russo served as president and chief executive officer of Cerent Corporation, which was acquired by Cisco. From April 1995 to April 1998, Mr. Russo served in various capacities, including as chief operating officer, at Xircom, Inc., which was acquired by Intel Corporation. Previously, Mr. Russo served as senior vice president and general manager for the hyperchannel networking group of Network Systems Corporation and as vice president and general manager of the data networking products division of AT&T Paradyne Corporation. Mr. Russo served on the board of directors of Vital Network Services, Inc., a privately-held company delivering network lifecycle services, and Xirrus, Inc., a privately-held company providing products that enable high-performance wireless networks. Mr. Russo attended Swarthmore College and previously served on its board of managers.

Cory Sindelar is a Chief Financial Officer at Calix and is based in San Jose, California. He has worked as CFO at Kilopass Technology Inc; Director, Finance at Dell EMC; and Chief Financial Officer at Ikanos Communications. Cory works or has worked as Senior Manager at Pricewaterhousecoopers Mgmt and VP:Finance at Ikanos Communications. He attended Georgetown University between 1987 and 1991.

Senior marketing, strategy and operations executive with extensive experience leading global marketing teams and strategic initiatives, building organizations, driving marketing programs and transforming go-to-market models.

I am a senior executive ( sorry done with SW coding !!! ) with extensive expertise within the networking and software industry.

Over my 30+ years ( hey... ) in the field, I have developed skills that span networking technologies, large-scale software development), technology and market strategy, acquisition integration, distributed engineering sites and partnership.

Lead when business and success was easy and when it wasn't.... Made a lot of mistakes, learned a lot!!!!

As Chief Development Officer@Calix, I focus on disrupting the entire Access networking space with our Software Defined Access (SDA) architecture, our SW platforms and our best-of-breed systems for fiber, copper, mobile/wifi distribution , smart home managed services as well as leveraging Cloud-based analytics and SaaS model .

Are we Agile? A SW company? DevOps ready? SaaS savvy? for us it is more than a marketing spin, it is the only way to compete against foes with 10x-50x more budget, engineers and deep relationships ... @ Calix, we embrace any processes, methods, open source, partnership to service our customers better .... we have to...

Back in the days, as SVP on Junos software, I focus on making Junos, our leading asset for our company and our customers, I oversee the software directions, development environment and release integration and testing.

Previously, as Cisco's SVP of Network Software and System Technology, I built and led one of the strongest and most inventive engineering teams. My involvement over the past decade in leading software development has contributed to the establishment of Cisco's IOS ( Internetwork Operating System) .

I have seen the early stages of the Internet and I am blessed to have contributed to a technology revolution that has fundamentally changed the way we work, live, and play in a \'connected world\'.

It has been and continues to be a great journey! I am blessed...

Parul Kapoor is a Chief People Officer at Calix and is based in Redwood City, California. She has worked as Consultant - Human Capital Product Solutions (HCPS) ►Business Development | Client Management at Mercer India; Global HR Group Director, Research & Development ► Strategy | Business Growth | Data Management at CADENCE DESIGN SYSTEMS INC; and Vice President & Head of RnD, Marketing & Business Development HR at CADENCE DESIGN SYSTEMS INC. Parul studied at Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development-SCMHRD between 2001 and 2003.
