Ensure client safety at all times, providing modifications for all fitness levels and abilities. · Represent the Office of Recreational Services via quality guest experience to all patrons in class and to all Office of Recreational Services guests. · Enforce all building and program policies and procedures as it pertains to the Fitness and Wellness areas. · Respond to emergencies in strict accordance to the Office of Recreational Services Emergency Action Plan. · Prepare fitness class program/choreography before your class shift. Arrive at least 15 minutes early to prepare the studio space for your class and to greet participants. · Purchase choreography/continuing education credits to maintain certification. · Check email daily and communicate effectively with supervisor through phone, email, text, or in person. · Contact RocketEX staff to acquire substitute for any shifts conflicting with personal schedule. · Train (team teach) and mentor new employees. · Attend and participate in all trainings and meetings within employee group and department wide, including Fall Leadership and Training Week. · Other duties as assigned by the Office of Recreational Services.
