Other duties may be assigned. Execute periodic inspections of plant equipment to determine proper and normal operating conditions. Check and record operational data such as fluid levels, temperatures and pressures, compare to trends and have the ability to make corrections as needed. Complete all inspection, preventative maintenance and corrective activity in Clean Energy's CMMS system, Microsoft Dynamics D365 Field Service. Ensure tasks are completed, notes are comprehensive and accurate, and all labor, parts and consumables are documented in the system. Review daily operating reports and other records to ensure specified operating characteristics in control of the plant equipment. Ensure the reception of raw materials to the digester which may include sampling/testing. Detect and correct faulty and malfunctioning mechanical and electrical components, devices and equipment. Diagnose equipment malfunctions during emergencies and direct activities to restore normal operation or to shut down malfunctioning unit. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters. Troubleshoot and repair electrical system wiring from control wiring up to 480 volts. Remove, install and modify equipment. Notify the Gas Plant Manager of a shutdown or major changes in output of unit. Maintain all plant equipment and structures in accordance with manufactures and Company guidelines. Cooperate in routine and special tests and plant inspections to improve operations and maintain safe working conditions. Maintain a clean workspace including the plant building, control room, rest room, break room and grounds. Responsible for the use of heavy equipment including fork truck, manlift, loader and/or vac equipment. Comply with all company safety policies and programs. Ensure all incidents are reported immediately to the EHS department. Participate in on-call duty and remote plant monitoring according to the scheduled rotation. Skills/Capabilities and Education: * Technical or trade school certification, college degree or additional work experience in related field. * At least 7 years of experience in gas compression with preference to CAT, Ariel and/or Cummins. * CAT Gas Engine II, Troubleshooting, Electronics certifications; CAT 3500, 3600, ADEM 3 and ADEM 4, Ariel Mechanics 1 and 2, Murphy panel a plus. * Valid driver's license with a Motor Vehicle Record history acceptable to USA Compression. * Strong interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal skills. * Excellent customer service skills with customer field personnel, onsite vendors, and other employees. * Ability to understand written and verbal communication from the company and supervisor including training, procedures, instructions, etc. * Ability to be self-managed and work independently with little or no supervision.
