He came to that position after serving as chief marketing and underwriting officer at BlueCross BlueShield of Montana. He first joined the company in 2000 as a Financial Analyst. He also managed corporate research and reporting, was Assistant Director of Business Intelligence and led the company's consumer-directed health systems. Jared is on the board of directors for the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Federal Employee Plan and for TriWest Healthcare Alliance. He serves on the board of directors for Trillium Family Services, the Oregon Zoo, the Portland Metropolitan area Boys & Girls Clubs and the Oregon Business Association, and serves on the Oregon Health Improvement Plan Committee.
