Key Responsibilities
Conduct WIC certifications, obtain anthropometric measurements, and perform hemoglobin testing.
Complete nutrition assessments, identify nutritional risk factors, and document in the WIC system.
Provide one-on-one and group nutrition education to pregnant women, postpartum mothers, infants, and children.
Issue and explain WIC food benefits to eligible participants.
Support and promote breastfeeding through education and hands-on assistance.
Assist with latch support, positioning guidance, pump education, and breastfeeding troubleshooting.
Refer clients to breastfeeding peer helpers, lactation consultants, or additional health resources as needed.
Facilitate breastfeeding classes, infant feeding education, and outreach activities.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal program requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum:
Current and unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse license
Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing
Must have a valid Driver's License
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree from an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics approved program, AND has completed a supervised practicum
Currently a Registered Dietitian (RD) or a Licensed Dietitian (LD) from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Knowledge of infant feeding practices and maternal/child nutrition.
Experience providing breastfeeding education or personal breastfeeding experience with ability to support others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide respectful, culturally sensitive care to diverse populations.

+ Provides on the floor training demonstrating skilled execution of the treatment model, approaches and interactions with patients and families consistent with program philosophy, best practices within scope of license.
+ Attends and provides input into required meetings which may include clinical and leadership huddles, team conference, family conferences, admissions meeting, quality meeting, site specific meetings, and other meetings as needed.
+ Implements plans in collaboration with leadership to ensure annual and ongoing employee feedback through corporate surveys, training feedback surveys and other ad hoc surveys as needed. Assists in analysis of results and implements action plans to address concerns and promote employee engagement.
+ Ensures patient council meetings are conducted monthly and patient feedback is shared, concerns addressed and incorporated into program performance and management.
+ Oversight of transportation, and vehicle maintenance ensuring compliance to NTR policies, risk management program, state and accreditation standards.

+ Participates in on call rotation.

**Responsibilities**
The Assistant Residential Administrator must be an RN. Will be responsible for oversight of day to day medical coordination, assist with nurse direction of LPN and direct patient care to maintain patient medical stability within the Neuro Transitional Center in accordance with Residential Care Facility guidelines. **Responsibilities**
+ Provides quality nutrition services including, but not limited to, screening, initial assessment, re-assessments, nutrition counseling and education, therapeutic diet calculations, and calorie counts. Develops an appropriate nutritional care plan.
