Maintains knowledge of Daily and Always Available Menu items and can provide general description to the residents and guests.
Assists residents with menu selections and responds to pertinent questions about menu items.
Takes meal and beverage orders and serving requested items according to established guidelines Use tableside dining / meal suit.
Responds to the dining needs of the residents and guests while maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards.
Attends pre-meal briefing to gain knowledge of the meal and meal support activities.
Follows all local, state/provincial and federal policies regarding food handling.
Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards.
General Dining Room Duties
Performs dining room checklist inspections for dining room cleanliness and readiness and makes necessary adjustments as appropriate to maintain quality standards.
Maintains side work duties as assigned.
Maintains assigned tables and surrounding area in a complete state of cleanliness, appearance and readiness.
Performs and ensures dining room set-up and re-set of tables is in accordance with dining room procedures.
Supports the dining room decorum and etiquette standards.
Performs and completes opening and closing checklist criteria.
Assists in table top inventories maintenance.
Resident Services
Reviews, reads, notates and initializes the Daily Log to document and learn about pertinent information.
Reviews Resident Diet Book, confidential Diet Board / Indicator, Data Card or Chart remove? TSD/MS Where applicable.
Maintains and protects the confidentiality of resident information at all times.
Food Safety and Sanitation
Practices safe food handling at all times to prevent an outbreak of food borne illness.
Completes daily, weekly and monthly cleaning assignments.
Maintains all work areas in a healthful and safe condition.
Assists in dining room and surrounding areas for proper directional flow, organization and supplies placement.
Risk Management and General Safety
Partners with community team to ensure community is in compliance with national/provincial regulations pertaining to occupational health and safety requirements and promotion of Risk Management programs and policies; adherence to safety rules and regulations.
Practices safety procedures at all times including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and Lockout Tagout procedures.
Training, and Contributing to Team Success
Participates actively as a member of a team and committed to working toward team goals.
Demonstrates in daily interactions with others, our Team Member Credo.
Commits to serving our residents and guests through our Principles of Service.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Assist in clearing, cleaning and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner; greet guests according to Four Seasons Standards to ensure superior service.
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Assist in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.
Assist in the breakdown, cleaning and set-up of buffets and food stations.
Assist culinary teams in cleaning of kitchen areas.
Ability to work, weekend, nights and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Education: High school education or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum one year of food service or related work.
Ability to carry and balance a tray. Ability to accurately read food tickets and communicate orders with the kitchen and servers.
Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.

**Job Description:**

Sets up and prepares serving and dining areas according to specific directions and layout plans established by the catering manager. 2. Transports all materials to and from the event/meeting area, following all health and safety qualifications for food and serving ware. 3. Prepares food in an attractive and appetizing way and serves the food with appositive and courteous demeanor. Cleans, washes, peels, and cuts fruits, vegetables, and other food as necessary following safe food handling guidelines. 4. Addresses immediate customer concerns, questions and needs in order to provide an optimal experience.5. Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dining ware, linens, serving ware, and work areas. Restocks clean equipment, utensils, and equipment to proper storage areas.6. Completes admin tasks including invoices, order forms, menus, and logging onto catering system to print out catering functions or daily schedule. Finishes baking of frozen convenience food products. Works in the grill/pizza areas. 7. **Pay Range:**
