Managing the Embedded Software QA Team, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and priorities for testing and validation of the various firmware platforms used across CMT's full portfolio of IoT devices. Our cloud-connected devices offer interesting engineering challenges, including video acquisition, compression and playing, computer vision, LTE modems, real-time communication, onboard sensors such as GPS and accelerometers, and over-the-air upgrades with new firmware. Responsibilities:
Lead a team of QA engineers to promote and implement test-driven development practices, code reviews, and continuous integration to maintain high standards for code reliability and robustness

Lead test planning and execution for major firmware and new hardware releases

Qualifications:

Advanced experience in debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems with tools like GDB, JTAG, and hardware debuggers.

Responsibilities:
Lead actuarial regulatory engagements, including preparation and defense of model filings with insurance departments, ensuring compliance while advancing innovative pricing and risk models on behalf of both CMT and partner insurers.
Technical Product ownership of CMT's telematics scoring algorithms and those of partner insurers
Collaborate with other business partners and data scientists across the organization to identify and refine opportunities for CMT's algorithms and ML models
Manage and prioritize multiple moderate-to-highly complex projects including gathering business requirements, developing project goals and requirements, coordinating project timelines, and communicating project status and deliverables with customers
Support actuarial operations and activities including risk pricing, evaluation of model lift, ROI analysis and telematics research to support UBI program
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and/or certification in a related field
4+ years of relevant professional working experience
Experienced Associate in the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS), or Fellow (FCAS)
Proficient in SQL and Python for data preparation, analysis and risk modeling
Experience US Property & Casualty model filings for personal or commercial auto insurance. Experience using SERFF a plus but not required
Experience with risk modeling for personal or commercial auto insurance (pure premium, frequency, severity modeling)

Qualifications:

Pioneer advanced self-supervised learning techniques, including the design and implementation of innovative tasks tailored to multi-modal telematics sensor data to learn rich representations of movement and driver behavior
Develop models robust to noise, missing data, and diverse operating conditions typical of real-world mobile sensor and IoT datasets
