SUMMARY OF POSITION
This position is part of a 24/7/365 high volume, suicide prevention focused call team. Our department has been featured in a Time Magazine article detailing our team's efforts toward suicide prevention. As a part of this team, you'd be responsible for providing brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, safety planning, crisis intervention, and appropriate service linkage for individuals who are experiencing an acute mental health crisis. This is an excellent position for recent graduates interested in providing support and demonstrating compassion toward others while being a part of a dynamic team of crisis care consultants.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate high level of clinical knowledge and skill in providing telephonic clinical screenings, risk assessments, means restriction, and crisis intervention to callers.
Conduct outreach calls to individuals assessed by mobile crisis to promote safety
Meet the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation.
Attend team meetings, in-service training, supervision, and other quality assurance training.
Demonstrate high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette.
Demonstrate knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources.
Promote a departmental culture of cooperation and collaboration with other cross-functional departments, community agencies, hospitals, mental health consumers, and the public at large.
Assist in administrative tasks as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY: This is a professional position administering the SNAP (Stop Now and Plan) curriculum to either the parent or child group during the 13-week SNAP group cycle. SNAP is a cognitive-behavioral strategy that helps children and parents regulate their emotions by getting them to stop, think, and plan positive alternatives before they act impulsively.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Stop Now and Plan Program serves children ages 6-11 years old who are experiencing impulse and emotional control issues. This program helps children, and their parents learn how to effectively manage emotions, maintain consistency, and keep problems or behaviors from escalating. This program is a 13-week program that meets weekly. The Stop Now and Plan facilitator is responsible for administering the Stop Now and Plan curriculum to the parent or child group. TRAINING:
The facilitator must attend the 5-day core SNAP training once hired. In addition, before group begins, the facilitator will assist in completing a debrief and debrief before and after each group, meeting with the families if they are to need further assistance with the curriculum.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY OF POSITION
This position is part of a 24/7/365 high volume, suicide prevention focused team. This position will answer statewide 988 chat/texts and conduct. As a part of this team, you'd be responsible for providing brief clinical screenings, risk assessments and appropriate service linkage for individuals who are experiencing emotional distress. The ideal candidate for this role has excellent computer skills, a proven ability to communicate effectively through written communication/instant messaging and the ability to multi-task in a high stress environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate high level of clinical knowledge and skill in providing telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments.
Answer crisis contacts via Zoom contact center or the chat/text platform to assess for suicide, safety and identify appropriate community resources to best meet individual needs.
Conduct follow-up calls for individuals who are deemed moderate to high risk for suicide.
Meet the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation.
Actively participate in ongoing supervision, training and team meetings.
Demonstrate high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette.
Demonstrate knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources.
Promote a departmental culture of cooperation and collaboration with other cross-functional departments, community agencies, hospitals, mental health consumers, and the public at large.
Assist in administrative tasks as needed.
