Develop and maintain loss accounting summaries to allow for identification or categorization of facility production losses.
Review and validation of Production performance summaries for each process unit summarizing data on total production, capacity utilization, operating reliability, unit efficiency, production loss categories and quantities, and energy utilization.
Thoroughly understand the technical Management of Change process and utilize it in support of facility changes.
Participate in regulatory agency audits.
Support procedure development and training related to capital projects, temporary or new modes of operation, and compliance.
Work with Engineering and Construction departments as needed to assure O & M interests are represented on major projects.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior or Staff Engineer, Maintenance Turnaround is responsible for assisting with/the planning, execution, and management of turnaround activities within the liquified natural gas (LNG) facility. Reporting to the Turnaround and Contracts Superintendent, this position involves coordinating maintenance and engineering activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, and optimizing resource allocation throughout the turnaround process. The Senior or Staff Engineer, Maintenance Turnaround will analyze technical requirements, support development of detailed work plans and cost estimates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of turnaround activities. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, organization, time-management, and effective communication are essential for successfully executing turnaround objectives while minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency. They will be responsible for the adherence and execution of the Turnaround Management Strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Assist or Lead execution of and ensure adherence to the Cheniere Turnaround Management strategy through all phases from Turnaround Initiation to Turnaround Closeout.
Support development of detailed turnaround plans, including scope, cost estimates, timeline, schedules and resource allocation to ensure efficient execution.
Conduct thorough assessments of equipment and processes repair and maintenance plans to identify and mitigate risks to meeting the turnaround objectives. Ensure repair plans meet required specifications.
Develop and analyze engineering scope of work packages as required for turnaround projects to include inspection, quality control, cleaning, replacement, and upgrade requirements.
Execute management of change (MOC) process, as required, to execute turnaround scope of work.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including other turnaround teams, Production, maintenance, engineering, and HSE to align turnaround objectives and ensure seamless communication.
Aid or Lead development of, monitoring, control, and forecasting of turnaround budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring expenditures remain within approved limits.
Ensure that all work has necessary quality assurance controls to meet industry standards, HSE and regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout the turnaround process.
Support coordination and management of contractor onboarding and performance of contractors working with Supply Chain Management, ensuring they meet project specifications and safety requirements.
Track and report on turnaround progress and milestones, identifying any deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Assist in or Develop and present reports and detailed presentations to management highlighting progress, challenges, financial impact, and improvement recommendations.
Supervise, as required, field activities to ensure they adhere to the planned scope of work, schedule, and budget. Address any unexpected issues or delays, develop execution and engineering solutions to obstacles, and adjust plans as necessary.
Lead final inspection and engineering review process in support of pre-startup safety review process for turnaround completion and unit startup.
Responsible for conducting post-turnaround reviews to evaluate performance, document lessons learned, and recommend improvements for future turnarounds.
Aid in the review of post-turnaround invoices from suppliers and contractors to maintain accurate billing practices.
Maintain accurate records of all turnaround analyses, work performed, and project outcomes for future reference.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Knowledge:
Possess strong understanding of mechanical, chemical, or process engineering principles applicable to the LNG facility operations. Familiar with turnaround planning, execution, and management methodologies, including project management techniques. Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance relevant to LNG facility operations. Understanding of risk assessment methodologies and tools to identify and mitigate potential issues during turnarounds. Familiarity with the LNG facility equipment, systems, and maintenance practices, including common failure modes and repair techniques. Proficient understanding of the CMMS (Maximo)system, including its integration with inventory, purchasing, budgeting and accounting practices.
Skills:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education and Certifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
Experience : A minimum of five (5) - Senior; or ten (10) - Staff, years' experience within engineering discipline in industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing with proven experience supporting and executing large-scale turnarounds. Recent experience with LNG is preferred, however, petrochemical, NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing, or other hydrocarbon processing experience may be acceptable. Formal education and a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with personal characteristics of integrity, accountability, and dependability are also required. At least 5 years' experience with CMMS is required. Experience with Maximo CMMS is highly desirable. Oracle eAM, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel is desirable.

WORK CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, work at height above ground on stairs and catwalks, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear, smell, type and write.
Must be able to board a ship via a gangway, climb to the top of a tank (200+ steps), climb vertical steel ladder up to forty feet or more in height, and lift and move objects weighting up to 50 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work indoors and outdoors, and exposed to year-round weather conditions in an ocean environment, noise, and other conditions normal to his industry. There is a considerable number of outdoor activities involved.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Interact with key project team members and client organization to develop project construction plans and master schedules, and detailed system turnover schedules.
