The Steam Turbine Mechanical Technical Field Advisor (TFA) provides on-site technical direction to customer-owned utility and nuclear power plants for their Steam Turbine Generator System(s). The TFA is responsible for reviewing plant engineering documents and P&ID's, troubleshooting of plant systems and equipment, planning, organizing, integrating and direction of resources such as labor, tools and materials as required to complete the work scope according to contractual requirements. The primary responsibility of the TFA is to safely manage the maintenance and repair of the various equipment used in power generation applications. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our Steam Power vision and align with our organization's core values.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Perform on-site installation of systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation
Lead outage crew including but not limited to crafts, union technicians, and onsite services teams
Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipment
Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at customer's sites
Perform administrative functions such as: writing technical reports, ordering materials, securing quotations, preparing job status reports, reports to customers, time sheet and expense sheets on a complete timely, and thorough basis
Signs off on all changes implemented.
Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality.
Maintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within GE Vernova safety standards
Knowledge to troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance checkout for wide range of equipment vintage
Prepare timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and a reference for future outages
Ensure all parts needed for the job are shipped to the site
Perform walk-downs during installation to ensure that the customer's contractors are working properly.
Perform aftermarket upgrades that need to be performed at the site level.
Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited College or University with 3+ years of relevant experience in Power Plant Maintenance, Turbine Maintenance, or Power Plant Equipment Installation or Commissioning; or, High School Diploma with 7+ years of relevant experience.
Ability to travel 80% annually to and from projects and various field assignments as required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport.
Successful completion of required training programs is a minimum requirement.

ACADEMY SENIOR COUNSELORS:
Senior Counselors must be enthusiastic, high-energy, responsible, mature, and emotionally stable individuals who enjoy working with youth. Candidates should have leadership abilities and a strong sense of how to work as a team member. The Senior Counselor should be an outstanding role model for participants. Counselors must model responsible behavior including punctuality, appropriate attire and good personal hygiene, positive attitude, compassion, wise decision-making, and intellectual curiosity. Senior Counselors should establish good relationships with students by initiating conversations and activities, conducting living group meetings, and ensuring that all students feel included and welcomed.
Each Senior Counselor will be assigned to supervise 8-12 students during those times when students are not involved in classes. The time commitment for the job is considerable. Students will range in age from 9-13 years; depending on the student, there may be a need for high-level supervision. Senior Counselors are an integral part of the supervision required. Counselors must have the self-discipline to manage sufficient rest needed for maintaining a high level of enthusiasm and supervisory responsibility during a rigorous daily/week schedule.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

ACADEMY instructors agree to cultivate a safe and supportive environment for students with clearly communicated expectations for safety, respect, and responsibility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Passion for teaching young students.
1+ years of experience with the subject matter.
In the last year of Undergraduate OR 20+ years old.
Ability to create age-appropriate engaging curriculum for 4-5 days of no more than 90 minutes of class time.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A college graduate.

Temporary Description
Village Leaders oversee 3-4 cabins each session to provide supervision, support, and guidance to campers and cabin counselors. They ensure supervision ratios are maintained, manage schedules, lead activity area transitions, and help to resolve conflict between children and adults. This role will support Ranger programming for 16-17-year-old campers.
Team Overview:
The Program Team brings the camp experience to life by creating programs, building community and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all camp participants. The team creates accessible and developmentally appropriate programs and recruits, processes and supports a large team of volunteers and seasonal staff. In adherence with laws and camp governing bodies; they develop, plan and implement camp emergency procedures and policies.
Responsibilities:
Attend Seasonal Staff Training (May 18-29, 2026)
Attend High Risk Certification & Leadership Training (May 11-15, 2026)
Oversee the village operations of 3-4 cabins, each housing up to 10 campers
Attend daily morning medical meetings (as needed) and coordinate with medical, psychosocial, and cabin staff on camper care needs
Observe camper behavior and assess its appropriateness, enforce appropriate safety regulations and emergency procedures, and provide suitable behavior support techniques
Collaborate with psychosocial and cabin staff to address camper behavior concerns
Support, lead, and evaluate cabin staff and volunteers
Collaborate with Staff Leader to plan and implement staff appreciation initiatives and events
Coordinate break schedules for seasonal staff and volunteers
Assist the Program Team with implementation of village and full camp activities
Assist with the facilitation of Ranger programming
Fill role(s) on the emergency staffing table as needed
Requirements
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Ability to move across camp grounds and between buildings and activity areas multiple times each day
Ability to perform job functions outside during summer months (humidity, heat, rain)
Ability to provide professional, empathetic, and caring communication with campers and families
Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with children and adults
Ability to provide overnight and personal care to children and teenagers
Confidence in public speaking and leading large groups
Ability to manage tasks and workload in a fast-paced environment
Ability to live on site
Preferred Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Valid First Aid and CPR Certification (strongly recommended, can be obtained during staff training)
At least 1 season of summer residential camp experience
Peer leadership experience
