Camp Counselor - Minimum eligibility for a Camp Counselor is 15 years old. Must be American Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED certified, and able to pass a swim test and a Level 2 fingerprint screening (varies by location). Must be able to pass a level 2 background check (fingerprinting for FL State and Federal records) as well as a drug screening as part of the hiring process. Counselors are responsible for all aspects of youth programs operations including but not limited to: supervising and ensuring the safety of campers, teaching and organizing water/pool activities, setting up and cleaning up equipment, and providing outstanding customer service. The Summer Camp Jr Counselor position is for candidates who are 16 years or older. Under the direction of the camp Leadership Team, the Jr Counselor participate and provide guidance to campers through a variety of activities that may occur indoors and/or outdoors.
