This position requires the person to judge, observe and assess the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations.

This position performs the essential functions in indoor and outdoor settings.

One counselor must be in the room with the campers for 30-45 minutes after lights are out to ensure campers have settled for the night.
Ensure that all beds in the cabin are at least 30 inches apart; there should be adequate space to allow freedom of movement and provide an emergency exit.
Stays in the cabin with your kids at night. You may leave your cabin for a legitimate reason, but only if you have another staff member of age who does not have camper responsibility at the time to cover for you.

To oversee all program and aquatic activities and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for campers in 3rd - 12th grade at our overnight summer camp. This position is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety at all specialized program activities at camp, including pool, canoeing, kayaking, archery, climbing/rappelling, and specialty programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Program Development and planning:
Collaborate with the camp leadership team to develop a comprehensive and well-balanced program that aligns with the CFGC's mission and values.
Implement a comprehensive aquatic program that includes recreational swim time, water sports, kayaks, canoes, Corcls, and other water-related activities.
Help maintain a balanced schedule that caters to various skill levels and ensures each camper has the opportunity to learn and participate.
Curate age-appropriate, diverse, and exciting activities that identify, promote, and develop “sparks”, a growth mindset, goal setting, and reflection.
Ensure that the camp program meets safety standards and adheres to all necessary regulations set forth by CFGC's and the ACA's standards.
Staff Management and Training:
