Position Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Sports & Community Programs, the Youth Sports & Camp Coordinator is responsible for the supervision, operation, development, and implementation of dynamic out of school time sports and camp programs for youths at the Presidio YMCA. Job Responsibilities
Program Planning & Implementation

As a Youth Activities Counselor you will interact and supervise children ages 3-17 year old by providing a safe and entertaining environment in our Youth Activities spaces onboard our ships & island. As a Youth Activities Counselor, you will work in partnership with our Entertainment Host team, by providing program support to ensure all department and shipboard goals are met.

+ Work with and oversee all children participating in Youth Activities programs, ages 3-17 years old
+ Support the set-up for all facilitated activities and accomplish clean-up tasks upon completion of programs; monitor audio and lighting needs
+ Help with the cleaning and sanitizing of spaces and objects, before, during, and after the facilities open; keep all spaces tidy during operating hours
+ Provide registration/check-in/check-out services for Guests in children's spaces on the ship and Disney Castaway Cay/ Disney Lookout Cay; operate multiple computer programs
+ Prepare food trays for children during meal or snack times
+ Present small-scale activities independently or with other Youth Counselors
+ Perform meet-and-greet functions in the Oceaneer's Club and Oceaneer's Lab for children and parents on embarkation day. Includes tour of facilities, overview of programs, and registration of children
+ Help organize adult or family activities as scheduled; may include welcome line, game shows, crowd control, hosting a lounge, bingo, Port Adventures dispatch or related

**Basic Qualifications :**
+ Minimum **12 months'** experience working with children in a high-volume, fast-paced environment in recreation, resort, day care, classroom, or before/ after school care setting, **OR** 3+ seasons (3 months each) of day camp experience **OR** 2+ seasons (3 months each) of overnight camp experience..

Position Summary
As a Camp Leader at the YMCA of Greater San Francisco, you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for youth during their summer day camp experience. You will lead activities that foster creativity, teamwork, and personal growth, ensuring that each child feels valued and included.
In this role, you will plan and execute a variety of theme-based programs, facilitate groups, games, and promote healthy habits through physical activity and enrichment. Job Responsibilities
Program Facilitation & Youth Engagement
Facilitate and lead theme-based activities that celebrate cultural, developmental, and individual diversity.
Engage youth in physical activities, promoting healthy habits aligned with Healthy Eating and Physical Activity (HEPA) guidelines.
Role Modeling & Conduct
Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating the YMCA's core values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
Safety & Compliance

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Camp Counselor - Spanish Immersion to join our team at the Terra Schools and Terra Camps. You will play a critical role in creating a positive, emotionally safe, and enriching environment for our campers, ages 3 to 10.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a background in camp education. We are a multilingual private school and camp that combines small class sizes, whole-child development, and nature-based learning.
We have two locations for camp. Terra Marin is located in Mill Valley, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Terra San Francisco is located in the Outer Richmond District of San Francisco, just south of the Golden Gate Bridge. During outdoor Earth Education days, we visit nearby scenic green spaces. If the outdoor location is more than walking distance from the school, we provide a shuttle for both students and teachers.

Engage children in Spanish language and cultural projects.

Job Description
EDMO's summer team members spend about 6 weeks of summer connecting with kids, honing leadership skills, and making a real impact - all while rocking wacky costumes and getting pied in the face! Our summer positions offer a unique opportunity to help kids uncover hidden talents and dive deeper into existing talents. Spend your summer pursuing your goals and developing invaluable, transferrable professional skills (including problem solving, time management, and leadership).
The Counselor is responsible for overseeing all day to day activities with their group of campers. They support instructors with curriculum in the classroom and run organized periods of Team Time (Social and Emotional Learning curriculum) and Outdoor Game Time with their assigned group of campers daily. In addition, counselors should constantly be ready to rock that EDMO vibe with songs, skits, games, shaving cream pies, and more!
Main duties include:
Approaching camper growth with passion and excitement
Navigating groups of 20-25 kids through daily activities focused on various curriculum themes including science, technology, maker, nature and more
Leading organized activities during Outdoor Game Time and Team Time for your group of campers
Supporting instructors in the classroom with curriculum and hands-on classroom activities
Working closely with other staff members to create fun camp games, songs, skits and activities - and participating in all
Assisting in daily camper check in and check out procedures
Supporting and building positive group dynamics among campers
Interacting with parents in a professional and energetic manner
Helping to cultivate healthy self-esteem and a natural love for learning
Ensuring all campers are safe and have a positive experience in our program (this includes diligently following all EDMO Covid-19 guidelines and restrictions)
Exhibiting the EDMO Vibe and demonstrating through actions and words each of the social emotional learning (SEL) skills of empathy, responsibility, initiative, collaboration, problem solving and emotion management, while also reinforcing these qualities in other staff and kids

Qualifications
Requirements:
Must be 17 years of age; Previous satisfactory experience working with groups of students;
Successful completion of the Instructional Assistant Exam coordinating with academic level required for the position (May waive requirement with proof of Bachelor's degree with coursework primarily in English, AA degree or completion of 48 college- level units).
