Operating in over 70 treatment centers in multiple states, our team members are engaged in medication-assisted treatment, counseling, support, and care management of individuals living with OUD. We treat the whole person and, in so doing, address the underlying causes of OUD in an effort to provide a continuum of care that not only addresses treatment needs but supports the patient on their journey to recovery.
Job Summary:
Provides individual, group, and family counseling to patients as required. Works with multidisciplinary treatment team consisting of Medical Director, Program Director, Counselors and Nurses to identify and meet the clinical needs of the patient and to assist in their overall well-being. Provides clinical supervision to clinical staff, audits patient records, and helps train counselors when necessary. Senior Counselor roles are designed for clinics with less than 350 patients.
Essential Functions:
Ensure compliance with all Local, State, Federal and Colonial Management Group, LP rules, and regulations and to do so within the allocated budget for the clinic
Keep Colonial Management Group, LP informed, through the Program Director or Regional Director, of any significant treatment events which occur in their respective area and make prudent recommendations to address the same.
Will provide patient care to a patient caseload as determined by the center's needs.
Provide or assist with quarterly quality assurance program reviews.
Assist in achieving and maintaining three-year accreditation status through recognized accrediting bodies.
Provide reports as requested.
Provide clinical supervision to clinical staff as required.
Reviews, signs and dates all appropriate documentation required.
Documents patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups.
Reports patient abuse, neglect and exploitation as required.
Assists in monitoring all patient activities on center premises.
Actively participates in community relations activities as directed and authorized.
Ensures the reading and understanding of the Policy and Procedures Manual.
Ensures compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 (Federal Confidentiality Regulations) and 45 CFR, Parts 160 & 164 (HIPAA)
Is responsible for obtaining or maintaining proper licensure and/or certification according to specific state requirements.
Actively participates in preparation for surveys and inspections conducted by CARF, the State, DEA, Board of Pharmacy and any other agency site visits as dictated by the state laws or regulations.
Participates in all staff meetings
Ensures compliance with local, State, Federal and Colonial Management Group, LP rules, regulations and policies.
Always acts in the best interests of the program and company; honors, supports, and protects the propriety data and rights of the company.

Overview:
This full-time Other Personal Services (OPS) position is based out of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's (FWC) Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network (FYCCN). The FWC is seeking a self-motivated, energetic, outcome-oriented individual to work as part of the Summer CampCounselor team at the Everglades Youth Conservation Center (EYCC) in West Palm Beach. The incumbents will work with the summer camp team to deliver experiential programs designed to engage youth with Florida's ecosystems through outdoor recreation. EYCC is a residential summer camp and sees as many as 800 participants throughout the summer. The incumbents will supervise campers during daily activities as assigned and sleep in the cabins with campers at night. Incumbents will also be responsible for cabin safety inspections, leading night activities, shower rotations, and check out procedures. Incumbents may be assigned a different program each week and will supervise as many as 14 campers at a time with an assisting Counselor or Instructor.
As a part of FYCCN, the incumbent communicates with stakeholders, constituents, and partners and performs functions of this position with a strong understanding of FYCCN's mission, future goals, and practices. Conveys FYCCN's vision through effective programming, training, and outreach at the EYCC.
Interested individuals must be passionate about getting youth outside to create the next generation that cares about fish and wildlife resources. Programs that Counselors may be assigned to assist with include activities such as shooting sports, hunter safety, archery, bowhunting, freshwater fishing, saltwater fishing, camping skills, canoeing, kayaking, wildlife viewing, wetland exploration, marine exploration, swimming, and counselor in training programs.

Purpose: While Busch Gardens Camps provide an imaginative and intellectually stimulating atmosphere for learning about wild animals and wild places, it is the counselors who energize and encourage campers to develop a lifelong appreciation, understanding and stewardship for our diverse natural environments and resources.

Basic Requirements:
* Must be at least 21 years old to drive camp rental vehicles.
* Prospective candidates should be available May 21st through August 5th 2026, and prepared to live in a dorm setting. Pay includes lodging. Meals are provided while working a shift with resident camp that includes mealtime.
* At least 1 year college required; 3rd year college student in a Biology/Zoology, Education, Wildlife Conservation or Environmental Science degree program preferred
* Previous related experience with camps and/or working with children preferred
* A valid Driver's License with ability to meet SEA's driving guidelines
* Able to work in an outdoor environment for an extended period and endure high heat, humidity, possibly dusty and damp
* This position requires extensive walking, standing, and long hours managing children. Tasks may also include bending; some overhead reaching and use of hands.
* Must be able to push, pull, lift to 50 pounds, occasionally carrying between floors
* Ability to work flexible schedule including early shifts, evenings, weekends, and overnights, for the entire length of the summer camp schedule (May 21st - August 5th, 2026)
* First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred

Job Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the overall safety and wellbeing of resident campers in rising grades 7th - 12th grades, overseeing them throughout the park, overnight at the dormitory and during off-site field trips.
* Enthusiastically teach and implement assigned camp curriculum encompassing environmental science, zoology, physical science, etc., through educational games, hands-on activities, occasional crafts and evening trips through the zoo
* Provide guidance to campers by keeping them on task and behaving appropriately
* Facilitate interactions between campers and park staff
* Anticipate and willingly participate in designated camp duties including preparation of activity materials, set up and breakdown of equipment and classrooms, team-building exercises, and advanced preparation for incoming campers
* Knowledge of camp standard operating procedures and processes, getting around the park or any possible field trip sites
* Provide camper transportation both inside and outside the park
* Perform as a role model for younger students by displaying team spirit and enthusiasm throughout the summer program.
* Adhere to Company standards on wardrobe, conduct, safety, cleanliness, and timeliness
* Complete assigned resident camp duties and assist camp team as needed; perform other duties as assigned based on business need, including providing day camp and/or field trip support
