About the role
Job Summary: The Clinician I will assist the Director of Outpatient Services ensuring the provision of quality care in an outpatient mental health clinic serving individuals with co-occurring disorders. S/he will provide weekly supervision to Master Level clinicians, interns, or other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure clients receive comprehensive assessments and individualized service plans; and provide group treatment services using evidence-based practices, as needed. They will also ensure service utilization benchmarks and reporting requirements for funders are met in a timely manner. As part of the Casa Esperanza, Inc. team, the Clinician I will provide services in a fully integrated, holistic, and collaborative manner using a team-treatment approach, to ensure the coordination of all client services, both across Casa programs as well as with external providers. The Clinician I will support with creating, implementing and delivery trauma informed care across Casa programs. This integrated model aims to facilitate clear communication amongst all providers and eliminate duplication of efforts or conflicting approaches to care; detail necessarily follow up and assignments; and ensure-wrap around support services are in place to maximize treatment effectiveness and clinical outcomes.
What you'll do
Clinical Services
Maintain an up-to-date waitlist and prioritize the assessment and appropriate placement of all high-risk individuals.
Monitor case assignments and ensure appropriate caseload mix.
Facilitate group interventions using evidence-based practices, as needed.
Provide support to clients through individual therapy
Utilizes case conferencing and the program team to coordinate and ensure client treatment plans are effective and appropriate.
Support with clinical group supervision to ensure effective communication among team members, manage productivity, and quality assurance.
Provide ongoing support as need for facilitation of the multidisciplinary team meeting and office-based addiction treatment meetings.
Educate clients and their families about psychiatric and substance use disorder diagnoses; recovery and wellness support services; medication including MAT for substance use disorders, psychotropic medications, and medications for other physical conditions; and ensure engagement with medication monitoring services and regular health maintenance
Build collaborative relationships within the community that support a strong recovery system of care.
Work with Director of Outpatient Services to ensure that all clinical staff receive training and regular performance evaluations that support the delivery of safe, effective, evidence-based, and culturally competent care.
Work with Director of Outpatient Services team to plan, implement, and maintain urgent care model.
Provide back up on-call coverage, as needed.
Complete all clinical documentation in the agency electronic record.
Provide SOAP coverage, as needed

Administrative
Work closely with the Director of Outpatient Services to ensure Casa Esperanza Outpatient facilities meet all licensing, regulatory, accreditation, credentialing and funder standards and requirements.
Maintains client and program records in accordance with agency, regulatory, and funder requirements and timelines
Work with Intake and admission Manager and Director of Outpatient Services to maintain efficient workflow to meet program utilization goals and objectives and ensure timely billing.
Work with Director of Outpatient Services to respond to internal and external data collection and reporting requirements.
Complete intern progress recordings, evaluations, and all required school documents
Participate in any required site visits and ensure compliance with any funder requirements.
Attend all relevant case conferences and staff meetings, including MDT.
Support with facilitation of MDT, OBAT, and FUOP staff meetings.
Provide weekly supervision to direct reports.
Attend weekly supervision
Attends all trainings and professional development opportunities as required.
On call on a rotation schedule
Ensure that all program components and evidence-based practices are delivered to the target population and address any barriers to implementation.
Collaborate with Director of recovery Support Services to oversee data collection and outcomes reporting, including progress on goals.
Support with creation, implementation, and delivery of trauma informed services in our integrated care model
Support with SOAP enrollment and tracking of completion

Qualifications
Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field required
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Bilingual Spanish/English required
Two years' experience working individuals living with co-occurring addiction, mental illness and/or other trauma related disorders
Supervisory experience in a clinical setting and program management experience
Knowledge of appropriate community resources
Experience with homelessness, domestic violence, chronic disease, and incarceration
Experience in crisis management and intervention
Experience providing individual, family and group interventions to target population.
Strong verbal/written communication
Ability to work as both an effective team member and independently
Knowledge & Practice of evidence-based practices
Ability to meet the physical requirements and training requirements of the position
Schedule:
Full Time 40 Hours
Monday to Friday Availability from 8am to 8pm
Saturdays from 9am to 12pm

About the role
The Clinician will provide clinical services to clients in Latinas y Niños residential center. Clinician will serve individuals with co-occurring disorders. The Clinician will identify and utilize the client's strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences in completing assessments and to develop individualized service plans. What you'll do
Essential Functions:
Client Care:
Provides crisis intervention counseling, with referrals to ongoing mental health services when needed, as well as primary care through our Casa Integrated Care model.
Utilizes case conferencing and the program team to coordinate and ensure client treatment plans are effective and appropriate.
Engages external and internal service providers to better meet clients' needs
Provides group treatment using evidence-based practices including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Relapse Prevention, Relational and Psychodynamic therapy, etc., as needed.
Participate in weekly clinical meetings to provide updates and assist in the decision-making related to treatment planning and implementation.
Complete biopsychosocial risk assessment, treatment planning, safety planning, and a variety of other screenings and assessments with individual patient sessions.
Facilitate weekly individual sessions
Engage family and other collaterals for the purpose of aftercare planning.
Administrative:
Ensures adherence to program treatment philosophies and policies.
Maintains client and program records in accordance with agency requirements and timelines
Assist with utilization management to include assessing appropriateness, effectiveness, and medical need for services.
Work with the Practice Management Team to ensure authorizations are up to date & units have not expired.
Assist in all reporting as required by supervisors.
Attends all trainings and professional development opportunities as required.
Attends mandatory weekly MDT meetings.
Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field.
Participate in weekly programmatic and clinical supervision.
Qualifications:
Master's degree required in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field required
Experience working with a psychiatric/substance-abusing/co-occurring population.
Familiarity in working in a strength-based, trauma-informed environment
Knowledge of appropriate community resources
Knowledge of the issues affecting people with HIV/AIDS in recovery from substance abuse/alcoholism
Experience with individuals dealing with homelessness, mental illness, domestic violence, and the criminal justice system
Experienced in crisis management and intervention

When you are hired to work the Extended School Year (ESY) program, you are committing to the entire duration of the program. This means that your assignment may involve working at different sites, as staffing needs arise. PROGRAM SCHEDULE:
The instructional hours for students are 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, for 5 weeks from July 7 to August 8, 2025.
The Clinician or School Psychologist is expected to:
* Work all 25 days of the program
* Attend Professional Development on June 25, 2025, and June 26, 2025.
* Work a 6-hour day, 5 days per week, for 5 weeks
RESPONSIBILITIES: Social Workers or school psychologists in this program support student's behavioral health needs and provide counseling per IEP :
* Provide direct individual and/or small group counseling/instruction to address students' IEP goals/objectives.
* Counseling/instruction will focus on Social/Emotional goals and objectives from the student's IEP.
* Prepare cognitively demanding group counseling sessions using evidence-based counseling practices.
* Differentiate instruction.
* Assist with building-wide ESY classroom instruction and provide direct intervention during classroom instruction by working with the teacher to offer push-in services or whole group SEL curriculum as appropriate.
* Assist as needed with crisis intervention.
* Assist the teacher in establishing a productive learning environment and classroom culture in which all students are respected.
* Maintain timely general counseling attendance, progress monitoring data, and progress notes.
* Consult with related service providers and teachers to address students' needs.
* Provide students, families, site coordinators, and program staff with relevant and timely data, including monitoring and reporting student's progress to prevent regression as outlined in the program.
* Participate in all scheduled professional development.
* Engage as a partner in planning and problem-solving.
* Assess students referred for summer IEP team meetings, provide written assessment results, and/or attend IEP team meetings if required.
* Provides support during arrival and dismissal, as outlined by the site coordinator.
* Perform other related duties as requested by the Director of Operations & Service Implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED:
* Master's or Specialist's degree.
* Massachusetts Licensed therapists, such as Independent Clinical Social Workers / Licensed Clinical Social Workers / Master of Social Work
* Massachusetts DESE school psychologist license
* Current Safety-Care certification.
* Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Autism, Intellectual Impairment, Multiple Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Specific Learning Disability, Emotional Impairment, Early Childhood.

Participates in weekly Support Team meetings and covers a percentage of on-call team shifts scheduled under the supervision/direction of SEL Coordinator.
Communicates necessary information about individual student needs and programming to the Educational Leadership Team and the student's collaborative care team.
Completes Safety Care Training (or other relevant de-escalation training) to maintain full certification.
Completes risk assessment training, conducts risk assessments when clinically indicated, and documents and communicates with families and administration in accordance with results and student needs.
