How you'll contribute
The Physical Therapist (PT) assumes responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and provides physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
Assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of those patients being treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs. May be assigned to orient staff and students and assume the duties and responsibilities of the supervisor in the absence of that individual.
Assesses patients' needs; identifies and initiates appropriate physical therapy interventions; works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Observes and evaluates treatment affect, accomplishment of short and long term goals. Recommends change to physician, if needed.
Performs an appropriate assessment on each patient and performs reassessments, as per policy. Performs accurate and timely QI scoring. The population is adult and geriatric patients requiring an adult medical rehabilitation program and services.
Able to assess patient pain interfering with optimal level of function of participation in rehabilitation; makes appropriate interventions to reduce pain; makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.
Formulates and updates patient specific plan of care for physical therapy
Reports patient progress and barriers to discharge in each patient team conference
Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
Formulates a teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluates effectiveness of learning; family is included in teaching, as appropriate. Performs appropriate documentation.
Demonstrates knowledge, competency and proficiency of physical therapy modalities.

Responsibilities:
Performs daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and other required inspections of amusement rides and related equipment as assigned, taking corrective actions as issues are identified. Inspections are visual as well as auditory.
Trouble shoots a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems and takes appropriate corrective actions.
Properly follows all repair procedures and maintains accurate documentation of all repairs. Maintains orderly and accurate records of all required inspections and work performed and submits required paperwork to supervision in a timely manner.
Communicates the status of assigned rides both verbally and in written format.
Maintains all assigned equipment in a safe and ready condition according to all applicable codes, laws, rules, company policies, and best practices.
Reads, understands, and applies information from manufacturer's manuals for service, repair and or component replacement. Accurately reads blueprints (mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic). Completes proper documentation as required.
Interacts with and communicates with various groups and individuals, such as the immediate supervisor, other Park managers and staff, co-workers, guests, vendors, contractors, inspectors, etc.
Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guest, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving directions.
Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervisor.
Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Adheres to Six Flags code of conduct including costuming and grooming standards as outlined in employees' Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Requires a vocational diploma in mechanical/industrial maintenance supplemented by a minimum of one year of experience in mechanical maintenance for a Level 1 Ride Mechanic, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Requires forklift and man lift certifications.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be comfortable working at heights up to 250ft.

The Department of Surgery at Stanford University seeks a nationally renowned Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon to join the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery as Division Chief. This position will have clinical, research, teaching, and administrative responsibilities.
The Stanford Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery is a national leader in innovative clinical care, impactful research and pre-eminent education programs. The Division is comprised of 25 faculty and 8 part-time dental and cosmetic faculty. The Division has broad and comprehensive programs in all aspects of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with considerable growth over the past decade and most recently successfully expanding programs to the East Bay.
This faculty position will be a full-time position at the Associate or Full Professor level in the University Medical Line (UML) or University Tenure Line (UTL), with 25% effort dedicated to the Division Chief role, along with clinical, teaching, and research activities. A strong history of scholarly activity in research with a track record of extramural funding is desired. The Division Chief will be responsible for leading growth and ensuring excellence in clinical care for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford Health Care, Stanford Children's Health, and affiliated institutions including the Palo Alto VAMC and Santa Clara Medical Center; mentor faculty; and develop and support research programs. The candidate is expected to be a MD or MD/ PhD, with a track record of leadership, mentorship, scholarship, and clinical excellence.
The predominant criterion for appointment in the University Tenure Line is a major commitment to research and teaching.

What do our Pest Control Consultants do?
The primary purpose of this role is to sell the company's industry leading pest management services and products to new and existing residential customers, while maintaining a customer-focused service to grow the business. Essential Job Functions:
