Summary: Our Spirit Guides are often the first face a guest sees upon entering one of our shops. Position Summary
The Safety Guide plays a critical role in ensuring the safety of technicians while they perform elevated and high-risk tasks, such as working on lifts, installing fiber guides, trapeze, and ladder racks. Key Responsibilities
Act as a spotter for technicians working on lifts and at height.
Set up and maintain cones, barricades, signage, and other boundary controls to secure work areas.
Monitor jobsite activities to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Assist in guiding technicians when maneuvering equipment or materials in restricted areas.
Report safety concerns or incidents immediately to supervisors and the Safety Team.
Support safe material handling practices to prevent injuries or equipment damage.
Promote NTI's safety-first culture by reinforcing best practices on site.
Verify equipment inspections daily.
Qualifications
Previous construction, warehouse, or jobsite experience preferred but not required.
Strong situational awareness and ability to focus in busy environments.
Ability to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and work as part of a team.
Physically able to lift, carry, and move materials/equipment as needed.
Comfortable working outdoors and indoors, in varying conditions.
Preferred Skills
Basic understanding of construction safety practices.

To provide student leaders that are dedicated to representing the Department of Theatre and Film and serving as role models to prospective and incoming students. Ambassadors will serve as liaisons between the department and prospective students, their families, donors, and other potential interested parties. They will help answer questions about student life, department involvement, lead campus tours and perform other duties as assigned to ensure the interests of the department are represented and provide an engaging and informative experience.
