POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for packaging dried egg into 50 lb. boxes with a plastic liner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for packaging dried egg into 50 lbs. and 25kg boxes with plastic liner and 500 kg tote bag.
2. Sanitation of the dryer and equipment. Includes disassembly, cleaning, and assembly, of augers using LOTO and entering warm dryer box wearing protective clothing and using LOTO and confined space.
3. Maintain standard of cleanliness of work area.
4. Responsible for confirming and verifying final weights of finished products.
5. Responsible for proper sealing and labeling of finished product containers.
6. Stack finished product of pallets.
7. Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
8. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
9. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

Less than high school education.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read a limited number of two-and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving one concrete variable in standardized situations.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

1. Ability to stand on hard surface most of shift.
2. Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 60 lbs. for 8 feet.
3. Ability to climb steps and ladders.
4. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
5. Ability to work in warm, noisy and sometimes dusty environments.
6. Ability to obtain a forklift license.

Performs work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. Responsible for the safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the laundry facility.
• Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Washroom / Dryer

+ Weighs slinged or carted soiled merchandise to assure the proper weight for laundering.

+ Hoists slings or pushes carts to wash area.

+ Loads soiled merchandise into washers.

+ Activates washers insuring proper weight, balance, water temperature and cleansing material.

+ Removes clean merchandise from washers and moves by slings or carts to extractor, dryer, or steam tunnel.

+ Maintains appropriate, required production records.

Responsibilities:

+ Attendance is an essential function of the job

+ Work in assigned area of production responsibility as scheduled in a safe and efficient manner.

+ Attend departmental and branch meetings as needed to engage and complete education and training.

+ Assist fellow production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment.

+ Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
