JOB SUMMARY: The Housekeeper plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff within the cancer center. This position is responsible for daily cleaning, sanitization, waste disposal, and supply stocking in accordance with healthcare standards, infection control guidelines, and organizational policies. The Housekeeper supports clinical operations by ensuring infusion suites, patient areas, and common spaces are consistently clean, sanitized, and properly stocked.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - JOB DUTIES: The following duties are considered essential to the job. Qualified individuals must have the ability - with or without reasonable accommodation - to perform the following duties:
Cleans and sanitizes all restrooms, including wiping down all bathroom surfaces and restocking supplies daily.
Stocks and maintain restroom supplies to ensure availability for patients, visitors, and staff.
Assists with transporting lunches provided by pharmaceutical representatives, sets up the lunches, and cleans up the kitchen after lunch.
Sanitizes and cleans high-touch surfaces throughout all suites and common areas.
Responds promptly to clean non-hazardous spills and related issues.
Cleans break rooms by wiping down all surfaces, tables, and chairs.
Performs daily trash disposal for both hazardous and non-hazardous waste in designated areas, following proper procedures.
Maintains regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.
Complies with all practice policies and procedures, including CCAY's Code of Conduct and infection control standards.
Requirements

Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.

What you will be doing...
Under the guidance and supervision of the Lead Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator, in collaboration with the Principal Investigator (PI), the Clinical Research Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the integrity, quality, and compliance of clinical research studies. This position is responsible for supporting and coordinating clinical trials in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines as well as applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The Clinical Research Coordinator will actively participate in patient recruitment, informed consent, protocol compliance, data collection, and patient education while maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
Essential Functions
Qualified individuals must have the ability - with or without reasonable accommodation - to perform the following:
Collaborate with PI and research team to develop study timelines, processes, and source documents in adherence to study protocols.
Coordinate and participate in study initiation visits and site monitoring activities.
Recruit, screen, and enroll patients into clinical trials in alignment with study requirements and enrollment goals.
Present study concepts to patients, participate in informed consent discussions, and ensure accurate consent documentation.
Collect, process, and verify research data, samples, and/or specimens following strict protocol requirements.
Conduct blood draws, EKGs, and obtain patient vitals as needed per the scope of practice.
Monitor patients for adverse events, protocol compliance, and response to investigational therapies, thoroughly documenting all findings.
Accurately enter, maintain, and review case report forms and research data per FDA guidelines.
Maintain investigational product accountability and provide patient education on drug administration procedures.
Educate patients, their families, and clinic staff regarding research protocols and investigational agents.
Remain audit-ready through consistent, accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory standards.
Attend required meetings, ongoing education programs, and maintain certifications such as GCP and IATA.
Requirements:
Desired Professional Skills and Experience:
Previous clinical research experience is preferred.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Register Nurse (RN) preferred; unlicensed professionals with clinical research experience may be considered.
Knowledge of or training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines preferred; the candidate will be required to complete GCP training and other training
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Independence, multitasking, and attention to detail
Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
SoCRA or ACRP certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within 2-3 years of hire.

This position involves some independent judgment, but most of the work is completed under close or general supervision. Frequent contact with the public, attorneys, Judges and their staff, title searchers, and other County departments. Employees in this position are sworn in as a deputy, which allows them to complete the process on behalf of the Prothonotary.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions
Checks, analyzes, and verifies information contained on incoming documents for accuracy prior to time stamping or electronic acceptance and processing. May make some independent procedural decisions but should seek support as needed if documents are not correct and notify the filer.
Receives payment and issues receipts for documents, services, and requests requiring payment of a fee.
Prepares, types, processes, issues, and certifies various standard civil legal forms according to the PA Rules of Civil Procedure.
Analyzes documents in order to correctly compose a docket entry to accurately record the nature of the filing on the official docket. Must be able to understand if the document requires other actions to be taken with regard to the file and docket.
Calculates interest and costs on judgments and executions being entered and recorded against a party in a case. If the filing contains errors, the filer is responsible for addressing them.
Assists the public with the process of searching Prothonotary records, and researches and answers inquiries related to docket entries and case dispositions as allowed by Court Order, and assists with more specific information requests.
Answers phones and furnishes information to the public regarding matters pending before the Court, as well as directs callers to other offices as appropriate.
Retrieves, copies, and/or faxes documents/files maintained in the Prothonotary's Office for the public, the Courts, and all County Offices, State and Local Police Departments, School Districts, and Prisons, as needed.
Operates and maintains the basics of various office equipment, including PCs, laser printers, copiers, scanners, imagers, time stamp machines, and cash registers.
Prepares all files for storage and maintains computer records for tracking purposes.
Responsible for the intake, docketing, filing, and maintenance of all confidential Mental Health documents (Commitments) received through Service Access Management (SAM).
Receives Passport Applications and verifies the identity of the applicant in accordance with the guidelines of the US Department of State. Responsible for ensuring the application is complete, that the appropriate fees are charged and collected based upon the type of application received, and that all applications are forwarded daily to the US Passport Agency. Must also interact with the US Passport Agency in resolving customer problems and issues.
Non-Essential Functions
Assists with training co-workers as needed.
Tracks and locates documents throughout the office before processing has been completed, as requested.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE;
High school diploma or possession of a valid G.E.D. certificate.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in general typing and office practices. Legal experience and/or school preferred.
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Working knowledge of Prothonotary office methods, practices, and procedures.
Ability to make mathematical calculations and perform detailed clerical work.
Working knowledge of computers and software programs, including but not limited to Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Ability to type at a rate of 47 words per minute from clear copy with 85% accuracy.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
