Direct Hire position RESPONSIBILITIES: Wax die calibration including all required documentation Routine die and fixture maintenance Perform all required insert and integral marking changes Special pin and/or insert changes including documentation for special lots/Engineering trials Inject sample patterns after rework of tools for Engineering release Pour RENS and airflow fixtures as needed Perform tooling and inventories and needed Perform all preventative maintenance as scheduled Minor die and fixture repairs Calibration of wax wall template, chaplet templates, gages & fixtures, wax assembly jigs, setter blocks, wax assembly heads Other duties assigned by the supervisor QUALIFICATIONS: Possess good verbal and written communication skills Must be well organized Knowledge of use of height stand, micrometers, bridge gages a plus Some heavy lifting required

The ideal candidate will have a basic mechanical or tooling background and the ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments to improve production efficiency and part quality. This is a semi-skilled role, ideal for someone looking to grow within a precision tooling environment without requiring full tool & die maker qualifications. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Investigate and resolve scrap fall issues in stamping dies to improve material flow and part quality. • Monitor and adjust die lubrication systems to ensure consistent application and reduce buildup or part defects. • Identify and adjust grippers as needed. • Assist with the movement of dies in and out of the toolroom as needed. • Assist Tool & Die Makers with minor die repairs, adjustments, and changeovers as needed. • Work with production and quality teams to identify recurring tooling issues and recommend corrective actions. • Perform basic machining, grinding, and bench work as directed by the Tool Room Supervisor. • Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety and 5S standards. • Document maintenance, adjustments, and corrective actions performed on dies. • Support continuous improvement efforts related to tooling performance, scrap reduction, and uptime. Minimum Requirements: • Prior experience in a manufacturing or metal stamping environment preferred. • Basic understanding of tooling, die setup, or mechanical systems. • Ability to read and understand blueprints and die drawings (preferred, not required). • Strong mechanical aptitude with good problem-solving and communication skills. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. • Willingness to learn and assist Tool & Die Makers as part of a team.
