In the Jesuit tradition, Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, offers

more than 100 student organizations and clubs. Admissions at Canisius are fairly competitive and most admitted students
have a grade point average of at least 87% and a combined SAT score of at
least 1020. Requirements include submission of an application,
transcripts, test scores, an essay and recommendation letters. Canisius
uses rolling admissions. Financial aid is available to eligible students. For financial aid
recipients, Canisius does its best to cover as much of their tuition as
possible with grants and scholarships, after which loans may be taken out
