A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR
As an Estimator, you are the driving force behind our success. Your work will support operations and management. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of telecommunication projects to determine electrical requirements, while collaborating with project managers & engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimations. All while identifying potential risks associated with and providing recommendations to mitigate these risks. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing company data, preparing detailed electrical estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment costs. Your construction cost estimations will be based on drawings of electrical plans and use of computer estimating software (Accubid,Bluebeam) to assist in the projections of electrical installations.
Estimators are experienced, detail-orientated individuals that Support Managers, Superintendents, and other leadership roles. Some of the other duties include assisting with daily documentation, tracking, reporting, and analyzing of data.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ESTIMATOR
4+ years of direct or related experience
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (not required but desired)
Willingness to submit to a background and drug screening upon hire-this is a Safety Sensitive role on a Military base
Experience in estimating using Accubid software.
Willingness to travel for proposal opportunities out of side of Washington State.
Proven experience providing electrical estimating services for commercial and federal projects.
Demonstrated understanding of Electrical telecommunication construction or infrastructure project management concepts.
Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical code requirements

This position requires exceptional leadership skills, a solid understanding of federal contracting requirements (FAR, DFARS, etc.), and the ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively. This is a safety sensitive position.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of electrical projects.
* Manage field teams, subcontractors, and project staff with strong, people-first leadership.
* Ensure full compliance with federal contract terms, safety standards, and quality expectations.
* Prepare and review submittals, RFPs, change orders, and project documentation.
* Coordinate with clients, GCs, engineers, and government representatives.
* Maintain cost control, forecast labor and materials, and track project profitability.
* Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 5+ years of experience managing teams and leading electrical projects.
* Proven success in commercial and federal construction environments.
* Strong understanding of federal contracts, documentation, and compliance requirements.
* Proficiency with project management tools (e.g.,Accubid, Heavy bid, Bluebeam).
* Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
* Active security clearance or ability to obtain one preferred.
* O1 Electrical license preferred
* OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Cannon Companies is expanding our Communications Division and looking for an experienced Coax Foreman to join our field team. What You'll Do
Install, terminate, splice, test, certify, and document coax cabling in both inside and outside plant environments.
Perform coax splicing with precision, accuracy, and strong attention to detail.
Read, interpret, and work from complex prints, splicing diagrams, and equipment layouts.
Support customers and project teams while maintaining Cannon's high standards of quality and service.
Follow all safety procedures and ensure appropriate safety equipment is used at all times.
Perform coax maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
What We're Looking For AKA Required Experience & Qualifications
7+ years of direct experience in the telecommunications field.
Strong background in coax cabling, terminating, and testing.
Ability to distinguish varying cable types. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Willingness to work flexible hours-days, nights, or both.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and self-motivated. • Must be willing to travel as required.
This is a Safety-Sensitive Position.
Telecom certifications are a huge plus (BICSI, FOA, etc.).
Additional Requirements
Reliable transportation.
Ability to obtain a medical certificate for driving commercial vehicles.
