The aide ensures students can access the general curriculum and develop independence. This position will assist individual or small groups of students with academic tasks, self-help skills, mobility, communication, and social interactions; reinforce classroom routines and expectations; maintain confidentiality of student records and information; support a safe and respectful environment conducive to learning; participate in required training and professional development (e.g., CPI, First Aid/CPR, etc.); communicate professionally with students, staff, and parents. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education (with ESEA endorsement if applicable).
