Job Summary

Communicates changing condition, medication follow-up and care related concerns/responses to the charge nurse. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs. Provides housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational. Provides assistance and documentation with wellness and recreational programs and encourages residents to participate. May participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
Qualifications
High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
Minimum age of 18 preferred. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year. A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually based on state requirements. Maintains all department specific required certifications. When applicable, may need a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Iowa: Require Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing. CNA certification must be maintained with the State Board of Nursing. Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide/Assistant course once CNA certification is obtained.
Minnesota: Must have nursing assistant certification, have completed the 75-hour course and be registered with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry. Successful completion of a state-approved Trained Medication Assistant course.
North Dakota: Require Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing. CNA certification must be maintained with the State Board of Nursing. Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide/Assistant course once CNA certification is obtained. If working in an Assisted Living or Basic Care facility, Medication Assistant I certification required. If working in a skilled nursing facility, Medication Assistant II certification is required.
South Dakota: Must successfully complete the state approved Certified Medication Aide (CMA) course. CMA certification must be maintained with the State Board of Nursing.
For all Good Samaritan and Sanford nursing facilities: Must have the state required certified/trained medication aide certification (CMA or TMA). Active certified nursing assistant registration in state of practice, or ability to obtain within 120 days, is required.

A Brief Overview
Accountable for providing medical social casework to a wide array of patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics. The main focus of the Social Worker is to assist in meeting the psychosocial/continuum of care needs of the patient and family to ensure optimum functioning. Receives and verifies correct implants for all surgical procedures (i.e., grafts, orthopedic hardware, allograft etc.).
Assists with on-the-job training and orientation of new staff and students.
Assists in transporting of patients to the O.R. when necessary.
Performs decontamination, assembly and sterilization, according to Infection Control and established QA monitoring guidelines as demonstrated by annual competency review.
Operates sterilization equipment which includes: steam and hydrogen peroxide sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaner, washer/sterilizer, and automated cart washer. Operates equipment according to manufacturer operational directions and in a manner that ensures the safety of the operator as demonstrated by annual competency review.
Utilizes desktop and laptop computers and handheld PDA for instrument decontamination, assembly and tracking functions.

Monitor team members' academic progress and eligibility; connect students with support services as needed.
Maintain records of player participation, competition outcomes, and program metrics.
Enforce team rules, safety standards, and university/league policies.
Stay current on esports trends, strategies, and league updates.
Assist with esports-related scholarship processes (if applicable).
Comply with all USF policies and regulations, and also with outside agencies' policies and regulations, including but not limited to Title IX, NCAA, NSIC, Department of Education, Clery Act, FERPA, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, and the Department of Justice.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Student Life & Housing.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience coaching or mentoring E-Sports in a competitive environment at the high school or college level.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
Willingness and ability to recruit a team of students to compete in esports competitions.
Ability to plan, organize, and execute practices, events, and competitions.
Familiarity with esports platforms (Discord, Twitch, Battlefy).
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
Commitment to the mission of USF and to fostering a student-centered environment.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Ability to pass a required background check successfully per policies; willingness and ability to perform all duties associated with the position, including, but not limited to, lifting up to 30 pounds, with prolonged standing, sitting, bending, and stooping.
