Individual is responsible for the maintenance of the Collection System and the protection against any unauthorized discharges to the sanitary sewer system. Individual reports to the Collection System Manager.
Job Standards
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Employee must have a valid Ohio Driver's License, Commercial Driver's License class B with necessary endorsements or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment, and an acceptable driving record. Must meet and maintain qualifications for driving on County business at all times, including insurability.
Collections Laborers will be required to complete and pass their Ohio EPA Class I Collections certification test within eighteen (18) months of their employment.
All required licenses and certifications must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
Essential Functions
* Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance;
* Inspects the existing sewer system for Inflow & Infiltration (I & I), blockages, and odors;
* Read and interpret blueprints, standard drawings and equipment manuals;
* Repairs manholes and perform routine maintenance on wet wells, force mains and gravity lines;
* Assist in the maintenance of the grounds throughout the Sewer District including but not limited to Regional plants, package plants, Lift Stations, and Sewer Easements;
* Assists with treatment plant and pump station tank cleaning;
* Assists with manhole inspection program;
* Operate collection system equipment; e.g. Vac Truck, Jet truck, Sewer Camera systems, Air release valves, and in-line valves, etc.;
* Must follow safety practices as required by the County; e.g. Arc flash safety, chemicals and associated SDS's, Lock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space, CPR and first aid, gas monitoring equipment, safe climbing practices, forklift operation, crane operations, etc;
* Responds timely to declared county emergencies and other emergency situations that may require the use of equipment to protect the public health;
* Maintains readiness and have the ability to properly use portable generators, portable pumps, and all other emergency response equipment;
* Operates, calibrates, and maintains chemical feed systems for odor control throughout the sewer district;
* Assists with composite sampling at site locations of industrial/commercial accounts; Regularly cleans the field sampling equipment, maintains, and orders replacement parts, as needed;
* Clears blocked sewer lines;
* Assists with mainline point repairs;
* Implements Work Zone safety plans including but not limited to road closures, lane restrictions and right of way work;
* General knowledge and ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and other asset management software;
* Attends various training sessions, video conferences, and workshops.
* Performs typing, word processing, and related computer operations;
* Works overtime and outside of typical work schedule/business hours as required; and
* Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:
We are seeking Laborers to join our growing team. The laborers will be responsible for performing their job duties in a safe and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of the construction industry but training is provided.
Must have a valid driver's license and pass a pre-employment drug screening. The laborers will be responsible to get to various job sites throughout the area and must be willing to work on a crew assisting in construction actives.
Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
Attend and participate in morning and afternoon job specific safety / huddle meetings as needed
Operate various tamping machines as per specifications
Inspect machines, equipment and assist with everyday maintenance
Assist with loading and unloading of jobsite materials
Maintain neat and clean work area
Inspect and operate hand tools for various activities
Assist the operator with excavation of trenches, placement of shoring and backfilling procedures
Placement of conduit in open trenches
Proofing conduits
Potholing existing utilities
Assist with setting of structures
Forming and pouring of concrete
Prep and placement of asphalt
Maintain safety of company vehicles and ensured optimal utilization
Ensure compliance to customer requirements and completed activities
Observe and promote safety compliance
Complete 20 hours of required safety training annually
Participate in random drug screenings
Report injuries and other accidents to the foreman
Assist coworkers in ensuring site is clean and organized at the end of each shift
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High school or equivalent education
Valid Driver's license
Reliable transportation to various jobsites in the area
Subject to pre-employment drug test and MVR
Ability to follow instruction
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with crew, leadership and clients
Strong understanding of safety procedures and policies

WHAT YOU'LL DO: You will ensure the line maintains a high production level while seeking new ways to improve current processes while enhancing production quality. You will perform in four areas of the manufacturing center where you will need to understand curtainwall processes, procedures, read shop drawings, blueprints and applicable manuals. You will be required to adhere to job/project specific quality procedures provided at the beginning of each job. In addition, you will serve as a leader amongst the team by sharing knowledge and best practices on how to complete task.
SALARY: Starting at $24/hour
WHEN YOU COULD WORK:
* 10 Hour Shift: Monday-Thursday

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
* Basic math, reading, and computer skills
* Effective communication skills
* High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
* 2-3 years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Curtain wall industry experience highly preferred
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Contribute to a safe & enjoyable work environment
* Able to work collaboratively with a team
* Must be able to walk, bend, twist, squat and climb on an occasional basis
* Must be able to push, pull, and lift between 30 and 60 pounds
* Effectively manage time to meet production schedules

What You'll Actually Be Doing
As a Forklift Shop Technician, you'll work in our Cincinnati shop repairing and maintaining forklift equipment.
This includes:
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Performing repairs on forklifts and rental equipment
Completing work orders and documenting repairs
Keeping the shop clean, organized, and safe
Assisting with loading/unloading equipment as needed
Supporting general shop and building maintenance
This role is a great fit if you:

This can be a more entry-level role, but you must have:
Basic mechanical skills or experience

Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to read diagrams and schematics is a plus

(Automotive, diesel, industrial maintenance, small engine, or similar experience transfers very well to this role.)
