Responsibilities WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE Compensation Management: Participate in the design and lead implementation and administration of competitive compensation programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, market trends, and legal requirements. Perform market benchmarking, analyze compensation data and partner with HR and organizational leaders in the development of bonus programs and incentive plans. Provide guidance to leaders on compensation-related decisions, including salary recommendations, promotions, and internal equity. Oversee annual compensation review & recommendation processes as well as adjustment implementation for merit and market adjustments, ensuring adherence to budget and equity guidelines. Benefits Management: Actively participate in the plan design discussions and manage the development, communication, and administration of comprehensive employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and leave policies. Evaluate and optimize benefit offerings to ensure they are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with employee needs. Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure appropriate utilization and maximize value for colleagues while managing costs. Maintain full knowledge of available benefits to be able to appropriately respond to colleague benefits inquiries, providing guidance and resolving issues promptly. Develop and implement engaging communication campaigns to educate and increase colleague understanding of our benefit options, eligibility and how they can best utilize our programs for their needs. Influence & Collaboration: Partner closely with department leaders and managers to ensure that Total Rewards strategies align with business objectives and employee engagement goals. Use influence and communication skills to drive organizational change and promote the value of Total Rewards programs across the business. Partner with HR Leadership to build and effectively communicate Total Reward Change Management initiatives. Work with HR Business Partners and Directors to address compensation and benefits-related concerns, ensuring consistency and fairness in decision-making processes. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding compensation and benefits practices Oversee reporting and analysis of compensation and benefits metrics, ensuring accurate data collection and delivering key insights to leadership. Monitor and report on budget adherence for compensation and benefits programs. Thought Leadership: Remain current on trends and best practices in compensation, benefits, and employee well-being to ensure that the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent. Provide strategic insights to leader on Total Rewards strategy and recommend new programs or initiatives to support business goals and employee satisfaction. Actively participate in the development and execution of thought leadership initiatives, including presentations, workshops, webinars, and other creative communication tools to promote the company's Total Rewards philosophy, programs and benefits internally and externally. Job Responsibilities * Assemble, fill, and finish/decorate cakes, tarts, select pastry, and special-order bakery items. * Build, ice, and decorate cakes and other bakery items following standard procedures to meet business demand. Complete production and spoilage records according to standard procedures, adjusting production sheets to maintain sufficient product. * Prioritize production lists and recommend adjustments as needed. * Merchandise and showcase products in the sales display case to satisfy and delight customers. Skill Requirements * Efficient cake and pastry decorating skills, including intermediate piping techniques and the ability to create decorative flowers and borders. * Understand color theory as it pertains to blending buttercream colors and coordinating complementing palettes. * Ability to apply proper technique when using all icings, including Swiss Buttercream, American Buttercream, Ganache, Cream Cheese Icing, Whipped Cream, Chantilly, German Chocolate Icing, Fudge Icing, and all varieties of Meringue. * Ability to follow recipes, directions, and procedures; effective time management and organization skills. * Advanced knife handling, tool, and equipment safety. * Basic math skills for recipe conversions and modifications. * Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team. * Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectable manner to fellow Team Members, customers, and vendors. * Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions with customers, vendors, and Team Members. * Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
