THE POSITION:
We are seeking a full-time Field Surveyor / Field Engineer with 2+ years of professional surveying or construction layout experience to join our team. This position is critical to supporting our Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) department, primarily in the field. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in surveying principles, construction layout, and the use of total stations and related instruments.
You will perform precise construction layouts, verify measurements, and ensure accuracy in all field data collection. Additional responsibilities include producing detailed reports such as 360°ree; photography and thermal imaging, and collaborating with project teams to maintain quality and efficiency. This role offers opportunities for growth into advanced VDC and design responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute field surveying tasks, including construction layout, verification, and as-built documentation using total stations, GPS, and other surveying instruments.
Interpret and review drawings, providing recommendations and adjustments based on field conditions.
Manage and maintain accurate survey data, charts, plots, maps, and records.
Perform calculations and verify accuracy of field measurements for critical project components.
Conduct quality control checks of layouts and construction prepared by other trades.
Ensure compliance with safety standards for personnel and equipment.
Operate company vehicles and transport specialty equipment between job sites.
Capture and report 360°ree; jobsite progress photography and thermal imaging data for applicable projects.
Collaborate with VDC Engineers and project managers to ensure alignment of field data with design intent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in surveying or construction layout (electrical or general construction experience a plus).
Proficiency with surveying instruments (total stations, GPS systems) and related software.
Strong understanding of construction drawings and layout processes.
Technologically savvy and eager to learn emerging tools and technologies.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities.
Preferred experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Trimble, or similar VDC tools.
Knowledge of electrical layouts and construction sequencing.
Familiarity with data management and digital reporting systems.

THE POSITION
We're looking for a full-time General Foreman to coordinate operations and oversee electricians at construction sites. As the point of reference for both workers and supervisors, the General Foreman will be a key person for the completion of a project. Our ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical construction with exceptional leadership skills and the ability to make quick decisions. This person will be well organized and must have safety first mindset.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise field production activities to obtain top quality workmanship, efficiency, employee satisfaction, morale, communication, teamwork, pride and development of the team.
Ensures work is performed according to company standards and project specifications including planning and managing labor, materials, and production on electrical construction projects.
Creates a material Buy-Out before the job beginning.
Plans work and labor requirements for the project for at least 3 weeks.
Complete As-Built Drawings and order materials once a week.
File daily reports and report all incidents.
Manages all project Close-Out processes as well as budget control (manages the cost on the site)
Communicates efficiently with the Project Management team and the customer/ General Contract.
Draft RFI's and submit them to the PM team.
Enforce all HR/ Company policies, safety policies, and perform disciplinary action with the crew as needed.
Enter and approve timecards for the assigned crew.
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of commercial/ industrial foreman electrical experience
Experience working in data centers and high-rise projects preferred**
Experience leading crews of 20+ employees
Advanced abilities in reading plans, submittals, and specifications.
In-depth knowledge of NFPA 70 and a solid understanding of current electrical codes and installation methods.
Well-versed in the installation of power systems - lighting, fire protection, security, and data networks.
Ability to order and track materials, perform job cost projections, and develop "as-builts"
Proficient in all construction software as required
Clean background and driving record
Ability to run projects $5M and larger
Must be able to reach overhead, lift 75 pounds, and push and pull materials.
Must be able to work in various positions, e.g., stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, etc.
Work is regularly performed outdoors with temperatures exceeding one hundred degrees.

THE POSITION
Canyon State Electric is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Technician with NICET certification to join our dynamic team. THE POSITION:

Resolves customer complaints and disputes in a timely, professional manner;

Qualifications:
Education: High school degree or equivalent
Experience: 2-3 years' experience with Acme is preferred;

THE POSITION

THE POSITION:
The Senior VDC Engineer plays a key role in leading the modeling and coordination of electrical systems for commercial construction projects. Improve workflows, templates, and automation tools to increase team efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS:

THE POSITION
Canyon State Electric is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Technician with NICET certification to join our dynamic team. RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:
NICET Level I - IV certification with experience in fire alarm system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting preferred.

Programming experience - 3+ years preferred
Structured cabeling experience preferred

THE POSITION:

Enter and approve timecards for assigned crew.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of commercial/ industrial foreman electrical experience

Advanced abilities at reading plans, submittals, and specifications.
In-depth knowledge of NFPA 70 and solid understanding of current electrical codes and installation methods.

POSITION:
The Electrical Wireman Levels 1-4 positions involve assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, following NEC regulations, and using various tools.
