POSITION
Canyon State Electric is hiring apprentice electricians at varying levels (1-4) to support our electrical projects, assisting with installations, troubleshooting, and learning from experienced mentors. Candidates will progress through hands-on training and coursework, developing essential skills for a successful career in the electrical trade through our apprenticeship program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Requires daily on-site attendance
Knowledge of the construction process
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Able to complete a full day's assignments involving one or more of the following: bending, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, and pulling.
Construction equipment proficiency
OSHA Certified Preferred - CSE will provide training if needed!
Strong time management skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Prior electrical trade education **preferred
Experience working in the construction field **preferred
Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

THE POSITION:
Canyon State Electric is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our growing team. This role is critical to ensuring smooth project execution by managing contracts, change orders, and compliance processes. As the key point of contact for contract-related matters, you will work closely with team members, executives, and external stakeholders to ensure all documentation is accurate, organized, and completed on time. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and has strong communication skills to effectively follow up and resolve outstanding tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee contracts with general contractors and vendors, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation.
Track the progress of contracts, send them out for review or signature, and follow up with internal team members and external parties to ensure timely completion.
Maintain clear records of contract progress to eliminate ambiguity and delays.
Monitor and track general contractor change orders to ensure timely follow-up and avoid project delays.
Manage OCIP/CCIP (Owner-Controlled Insurance Program/Contractor-Controlled Insurance Program) processes, including subcontractor enrollment, tracking progress, and resolving pending items.
Assist the project accountant with compliance tasks, including managing contracts and insurance documentation.
Ensure projects are set up accurately in the accounting system by coordinating with internal team members and completing required setup tasks in a timely manner.
Proactively communicate with team members to gather necessary information and resolve outstanding issues.
Serve as the main point of contact for contract and compliance-related inquiries.
Maintain organized records of contracts, change orders, and compliance documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of proven experience in contract administration, project coordination, or a similar role in the construction industry.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members, executives, and external parties.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to follow-up and tracking.
Proficiency in general office software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, DocuSign, and other business applications.
Experience with construction-related software systems (e.g., CMiC) is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with OCIP/CCIP processes and compliance requirements is a plus.
A proactive, self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
Must demonstrate strong attention to detail through a skills test as part of the hiring process.

Troubleshoot sources of equipment problems through observation and use of precision measuring and testing instruments.
Assist other maintenance personnel with emergency and non-emergency repairs.
Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) and associated control systems.
Follow blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
Perform boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment system testing, record results in logbooks / computer systems and make necessary chemical adjustments as required.
Perform daily and weekly safety checks on boilers and make necessary repairs as required.
Inspect motor, belts, fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions in accordance with maintenance procedures.
Performing basic welding activities to effect repairs on facilities and equipment.
Inspect, clean and lubricate shafts, bearings gears and other equipment parts in accordance with work procedures and technical manual.
Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Knowledgeable in industrial maintenance of facilities and equipment.
Minimum of 1 year of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment required. Applicable military experience will be considered.
Must pass UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment to be eligible for employment.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required.
Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English required.
Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills is required.
Lockout / Tagout experience is required
Ability to work overtime as needed is required.
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record are required.

Job Responsibilities
Serve as the main liaison between 56th Fighter Wing stakeholders, including Weapons and Tactics, Training, Plans/Programs, instructor pilots, and Range personnel.
Develop and implement communication methods and scheduling processes for routine and long-term training operations.
Act as the LVC Integrated Training expert for F-35 syllabus and continuation training missions.
Support the creation of LVC profiles, coordinate mission requirements with instructor pilots, and manage Desired Learning Objectives (DLOs) during missions.
Operate LVC control stations, perform Range Training Officer (RTO) duties, and manage data capture and debrief processes.
Collaborate with software developers for system improvements and participate in beta testing.
Develop and support LVC training scenarios that align with Luke AFB's F-35 training requirements.
Ensure integration of LVC capabilities with other training systems (e.g., threat emitters, ACMI).
Deliver mission briefings up to four times annually to educate operators on WIS resources.
Track and report on daily utilization of LVC/SAM-1/RTO functions, and compile monthly and semi-annual feedback reports.

Active Secret SAR Security Clearance
Strong familiarity with LVC systems, mission execution processes, and USAF training environments
