KEY PURPOSE:
As our Inventory Planner, you are responsible for inventory management and development of a DC replenishment plan that satisfies demand and optimizes service vs cost objectives as defined by leadership. Your primary role is to plan inventory across core and fashion workflows, manage related planning systems (when applicable) for your portion of the business, and minimize stock excess and obsolescence. Through these actions, you will help improve the overall quality and carrying cost of the inventory while still meeting demand needs and service requirements.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create inventory plans and targets for different product workflows (Core, Fashion, & SMU) based on strategic direction and vision of Leadership.
Reconcile and revise Purchase Requisition commitments as needed through production lead time.
Manage/resolve stock-out occurrences and expedite products when needed given inventory position and outlook and report on associated costs.
Create and analyze recommendations of seasonal and SMU bulk greige commitments with Business and Forecast teams.
Manage bulk greige buy positioning, allocation, and inventory throughout seasonal finished good production.
Collaborate with associated planners & merchandisers to proactively manage impacts to the plan (e.g. demand changes, supply variability, etc.).
Begin inventory segmentation rule setting aligned to both sales and supply chain objectives.
Plan and track new item introduction across all workflows to ensure products are available to ship from across the network to meet target on-shelf dates.
Support leadership in preparation of monthly IBP process through creation and explanation of finished goods inventory forecast.
Based on strategic targets, managing planning parameters such as days of supply, order minimums, safety stock setting, lead time management, and maximum coverage.
Generate reports and support performance management process in such areas as stock high/low/outs, service levels to customer, weeks of supply vs goal, etc. Achieve KPI Targets.
Champion inventory/replenishment planning best practices and support continuous improvement in the inventory/replenishment planning and collaboration processes.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 1-3 years in Supply Chain management roles, including: inventory & distribution planning, inventory management, operations, buying/procurement, and/or logistics/distribution.
Consumer products company experience preferred, especially a fast-moving, multi-channel consumer goods business with global manufacturing/sourcing.
1+ year with a leading inventory/replenishment planning solution or relevant experience with similar inventory & DRP modules and SAP.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, or related focus preferred.
Ability to proactively lead collaborative efforts with commercial planners on inventory policies and impact of forecast changes.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and inform through all levels in the global organization.
Strong analytical, creative problem solving, and data driven decision making skills.
Advanced knowledge of Spreadsheet software (Excel).
Pay Range: $85,000 - $100,000 annually
Base pay is a portion of our total compensation package and determined within a range that allows growth and development within your role. Your base pay will be determined based on experience, skills and qualifications.

Maintain fill rates and launching dates commitments at or above corporate targets

Act as main contact for a portfolio of vendors, animate weekly call
Review weekly reports (including weekly alerts)
Manage/execute the end of life process.

The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of chemicals, manufacturing supplies, and monitor wafers to support production operations. This role requires Just-In-Time (JIT) planning and close coordination with internal teams to manage supply within space and safety constraints. The planner will analyze production volumes and trends to adjust material requirements, ensuring alignment with operational needs and quarterly financial targets. The position also partners closely with Process Engineering/Production Control to identify volume changes, product mix, usage spikes understand root causes and implement corrective actions that improve planning accuracy and continuous material flow.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Plan and manage material requirements for chemicals, manufacturing supplies, and monitor wafers in support of production schedules.

Qualifications
REQUIRED:

• Develops manufacturing production/development summary and detail schedules for Moorestown products, including ongoing scenario analysis and return to green planning.
• Provides delivery status support for production and integration and test, supporting Manufacturing Program Managers with various scheduling analyses. Runs MRP (Material Requirements Planning) (Common Operating System COS SAP) simulations for firm and anticipated requirements, in support of the manufacturing demand release process.
• Supports release process for “make” assembly requirements and firm plans in COS ( Common Operating System SAP) as needed, works closely with Manufacturing Program Managers during release and throughout the program as schedule changes are needed.
• Runs material and manufacturing lead time analysis, checks for procurement short cycling, or other key constraints and works issues with Manufacturing Program Managers and Program Office.
• Supports the Long Range Plan of operations staffing for the Moorestown Operations site for various programs. Facilitates and maintains the sites proposal pipeline and ensures staffing forecasts stay up to date with latest assumptions.
• Supports planning related audits and completes MMAS reporting for scheduling related elements monthly.
• Takes an active role in continuously improving planning methods, processes and tools.
While this is a hybrid telework role, the selected candidate should be local to the Moorestown, NJ area to come on site when needed.

Will have service level (percentage of orders and lines filled) and months supply objectives to monitor performance.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts daily review of stock keeping units (SKUs) assigned in Kinaxis Maestro Planning System to address backorders, projected stock outs, purchase orders, inventory allocations, and port demand. Uses Kinaxis and Oracle software to review assigned SKUs for actions required including expediting backorder and projected stock out conditions, placement of purchase orders, and allocation of inventory in order to assure acceptable service levels for both port and Regional Distribution Center (RDC) operations.
Transfers and directly ships inventory to and from Subaru of America (SOA) port facilities (including operations support). Initiates the transfer of inventory from facing RDCs based on either requests from the ports, recommendations of the Port Accessory Requirements Report, or Kinaxis Maestro System. Loads orders either directly into Oracle or through Kinaxis based on location or number of lines requested. Provides assistance to resolve any and all port issues as related to accessories.
Provides support for SOA Independent Distributors and Export operations. Places purchase orders (POs) and expedites shipments of accessories to independent ports. Communicates with Independent Distributors regarding availability and application issues. Works with SOA's Export group to ensure timely availability of accessories ordered by Subaru Corporation (SBR) and other international distributors.
Expedites parts as required to resolve critical inventory shortages and customer issues due to supplier non-compliance and unplanned situations. Provides assistance as needed to port staff, Parts Information Coordinators, RDCs, and Customer Advocacy staff on parts availability issues. Continually reviews inventory (low level) exception reports, back-order reports, etc.
Resolves receipt discrepancies, defective inventory, and part returns to vendors. Reconciles warehouse receipt discrepancies with suppliers. Coordinates necessary activities at ports and RDCs in the event non-conforming inventory is found to have been supplied by a vendor. Facilitates any return activity that is required including issue adjustments and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) references.
Chooses the correct forecasting method and understands bill of materials (BOM) planning. Develops seasonal demand forecasts and end-of-model sell down strategies as well as launches initial order quantities (IOQs) for both SOA vehicle processing centers and Independent Distributors.
