    The tutor supports high school students enrolled in college-level courses by providing remote, subject-specific academic assistance. The goal is to enhance students' understanding of course material, build academic confidence, and improve study habits, all while promoting equity and access in education. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Tutors work under the supervision of the Early College Program staff affiliated with the MetroWest College Planning Collaborative. SUPERVISION EXERCISED: This position does not involve supervision of other staff. Tutors are responsible only for supporting assigned students and do not oversee other employees. EXAMPLES OF SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide tutoring in subjects like English, Sociology, Business, Health Science, Philosophy, History, Global Studies, Business Communication, and Communication. * Help students understand assignments and prepare for tests. * Teach and reinforce skills in time management, note-taking, and critical thinking. * Tailor tutoring methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs. * Maintain open communication with students and program staff. * Log session notes and track student progress. WORKING CONDITIONS: * This is a remote, part-time position. * Work is conducted after school hours and on weekends. * Scheduling is flexible and based on tutor and student availability. * Tutors must have reliable internet access and be able to work independently from within the United States. The Accounting Manager will manage all accounting transactions including, but not limited to cash management, bank reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, and account reconciliations. Essential Duties Summary * Maintains all aspects of cash management including daily and monthly cash reconciliation, update daily cash flow model, prepare, and process journal entries related to cash activity, process bank wires and ACH transactions as directed, and serve as bank liaison for the organization. Update policy and procedures recommendations to the AVP as needed. * Track, maintain, and reconcile all general ledger accounts. Including revenue reasonableness reconciliations for tuition, rooms, meals, and fees for all segments of the institution. * Track, maintain, and reconcile the contribution revenues and receivables received from donors.
