SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING INTERN Hourly Rate: $16.00 (Undergraduate Student) $18.00 (Graduate Program Students) reports to the Social Media Manager in Marketing and is responsible for
assisting in and implementing a wide variety of marketing activities and social media to
increase brand awareness of the Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) and its
businesses particularly for Cape-May based services, specifically the Cape May-Lewes
Ferry and Cape May Airport. This position will be required to maintain and grow the positive
image of the DRBA with DRBA patrons, customers, community organizations,
governmental agencies, tourism groups, and local businesses. Duties may include marketing
development, special events marketing, social media, writing, graphic design, and other
duties.
II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assists in any marketing and social media initiatives which can include, but is not limited
to, implementation of social media strategy, development of written/media content,
customer engagement and social monitoring, implementation of broader digital
promotion strategies, event promotion and coverage, and research of best
practices/industry trends.
* Assists in establishing the DRBA as a strong community leader through participation in
ferry-led, community events in New Jersey and Delaware.
* Assists in developing new outlets and marketing tools for use at all Authority Divisions
including Cape May-Lewes Ferry and Cape May Airport.
* Assists in a broad range of tasks including, but not limited to managing promotions,
attending meetings and interactions with customers in a professional manner, relationship
building and networking opportunities, updating, and managing social media channels.
* Builds and grows DRBA audiences across social networks with the goal of strengthening
relationships with existing customers and building relationships with new customers.
* May be asked to travel to multiple DRBA work sites in NJ and/or DE
* Provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism to all internal and
external customers.
III. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
* Social Media experience across a diversity of platforms, including Facebook, and
Instagram. Additional platform experience with YouTube, Vimeo, LinkedIn, Pinterest,
TripAdvisor etc. is beneficial.
* Knowledge of the rules, regulations, policies, procedures, programs, and methods of the
department and their application to specific cases after a period of training.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of
Hootsuite, Sked Social and/or other social media planning/analytics platforms, as well as
the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other design platforms, is beneficial.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* The ability to work effectively independently and on a team.
* Ability to keep documents, graphics, media, etc. organized digitally (within existing
systems).

Responsible for correctly labeling outgoing gaylords.
Maintains the placement of all merchandise and maintains the organization of the production room. Sorts donations into correct categories as directed.
Assists customers with loading furniture or other items. Presents and obtains customer signature on waiver for furniture purchases.
Assists with sale tickets and sold signs for furniture, electrical, and other large items.
Assists in loading or unloading of merchandise onto/off trucks or trailers as needed.
Operates pallet jack, sit-down and/or standing forklift safely.
Conducts daily safety inspection on all company owned equipment including sit-down and standing forklifts.
Reports all non-employee and employee injuries in a timely by notifying store manager.
Responsible for following and ensuring all safety rules are complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used. Ensures work areas are maintained in a clean, uncluttered, hazard free condition. Immediately takes action and/or reports any unsafe or potential hazards.
Must maintain a clean and neat personal appearance at all times. Must wear company issued uniform.
Regular attendance is required.

Adult Partial Care is a full-day service that provides individualized care for people with serious and persistent mental illness. Our goal is to treat individuals challenged by mental illness with compassion, concern and therapies that can help maximize their quality of life and empower them.
Working together, our caring, experienced team of psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, case managers and technicians provide individual care for a wide range of disorders such as, schizophrenia, bi-polar, serious depression and co-existing addictions.
Our Adult Partial Care program offers the best possible care in a supportive environment through therapeutic approaches and activities specially designed for individuals with mental illness. We'll work with you and your loved ones over the course of treatment to help you achieve your personal goals.
Our board-certified psychiatrists will meet with you to talk about your psychiatric concerns and make recommendations for designing a treatment plan that meets your needs. We'll also provide case management services that can help you access important benefits to which you may be entitled. Free transportation and lunch are provided by the program.
Key Responsibilities
Running groups for adults with serious and persistent mental illness.
Services include group therapy; psychoeducation; social and recreational programming; psychiatry; addiction medicine; wellness and recovery living skills; family therapy; motivational enhancement, IMR, and engagement strategies.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Meets educational requirement of a minimum of a High School diploma.
