Position Description
This position assists in securing company computer network from internal and external threats across corporate IT, Operational Technology (OT), Wireless, and office locations & physical assets. The Consultant will assist with execution of processes and automation opportunities to monitor, control and detect malicious or anomalous network traffic, maintain established level of services and network security policies, and remediate any gaps to achieve optimal level of security in the organizations computer network. This highly technical individual contributor role will report directly to the Director of Accounting Policy and play a critical role in researching, interpreting, and applying complex accounting guidance under U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
Scope:
The Senior Manager will be responsible for conducting in-depth technical accounting research, preparing formal accounting position papers and memos, supporting accounting policy development, and assisting with the implementation of new accounting standards. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams globally, including Regional Accounting, Financial Reporting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, HR, and external auditors.
This position is ideal for a self-starter with a strong technical accounting background who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and is comfortable working independently on complex accounting matters.
What you will do:
Serve as a technical accounting subject matter expert, supporting the Director of Accounting Policy and broader Finance organization.
Research complex and judgmental accounting issues under U.S. GAAP and IFRS, develop fact-based conclusions, and prepare high-quality technical accounting memos and position papers.
Analyze accounting implications of business transactions, including new or non-routine arrangements, and provide clear, actionable guidance to stakeholders.
Support the assessment, interpretation, and implementation of new accounting standards, including drafting impact analyses and implementation documentation.
Assist in maintaining, updating, and enhancing the company's accounting policies, ensuring alignment with evolving accounting guidance and best practices.
Partner with accounting, finance, and operational teams to help operationalize accounting conclusions into scalable processes and controls.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support quarterly and annual audits, including responding to inquiries and providing technical documentation.
Support acquisition-related accounting activities, including purchase accounting research and documentation, as needed.
Contribute to special accounting and finance projects on an ad-hoc basis.
What we are looking for:
Strong technical expertise in U.S. GAAP and IFRS with demonstrated experience navigating complex accounting guidance.
7+ years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong preference for candidates with:
Big 4 public accounting, accounting advisory, or consulting experience, and/or
Technical accounting, accounting policy, or financial reporting experience in a large, publicly traded company (e.g., business combinations, share based comp, leases, revenue recognition, impairment, intangible assets).
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; advanced degree a plus.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
Proven experience performing technical accounting research and drafting clear, well-supported accounting memoranda.
Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and sound professional judgment.
Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical accounting concepts to non-accounting stakeholders.
Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and ownership; comfortable working independently in a senior-level IC role.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to build effective relationships across a global organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

The salary range for this position is $113,046.00 to $160,997.00 USD
The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
