    Capital City Country Club Security Guard Capital City Club is an exclusive, private club with three locations in the Atlanta area. We currently have an opening at our Country Club located in Brookhaven for a full-time Security Guard. We offer an excellent work environment, health, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits along with a company match for our 401(k). We are looking for a self-reliant individual who is consistent, friendly, informative, and confident. Primary Responsibilities This position maintains all areas of the Club peaceful and safe for Club members, guests, and Club employees. This individual enhances the member experience and provides a warm welcome to everyone. Typical Schedule: 4:30am-1:30pm with Availability Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities Greet members and guests at the front gate in a polite friendly manner, using their names if possible. Provide information to members and guests on the daily functions and locations within the Club. Patrol parking lots, and prevent unauthorized vehicles and people from accessing the property. Patrol all areas of the Club including employee areas, golf course, and lake. Responsible for overall safety on Club property. This includes making sure that members, guests, and employees follow Club rules regarding driving speeds, reckless behavior, and correct parking procedures. Assist Club management in enforcing employee rules, preventing employee theft, and in the investigation and documentation of all security-related incidents. Assist in emergency procedures. This includes directing emergency vehicles to the scene and directing members, guests, and employees to the proper emergency areas. Respond promptly to emergency calls providing a timely response and corrective action to any problem affecting the Club's operation, especially member services. Maintain a clean and properly fueled security cart. Write daily security reports, incident and investigate reports and provide frequent daily contact with Chief Engineer to ensure communication of priorities and problems in a timely manner. Safeguard and maintain through proper use the tools and equipment provided by the Club Maintain current certifications in CPR/AED. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Guest Experience & Cottage Management: Oversee all reservations and guest services for Midwood Cottage, ensuring a welcoming and well-prepared environment. Coordinate guest itineraries including entertainment, golf tee times, activities, and transportation. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the cottage through routine inspections and collaboration with housekeeping and maintenance teams. Manage inventories, purchasing, and cost controls for cottage supplies. Ensure accurate billing for bookings and additional services, complete consumption and sales reports. Housekeeping Operations: Supervise housekeeping staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management. Ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout guest rooms, cottages, and public areas. Conduct routine inspections and coordinate with maintenance for repairs and special requests. Manage housekeeping inventory, ordering, and cost control. Administrative & Departmental Support: Prepare staffing schedules, payroll information, and maintain detailed records of inspections and inventories. Ensure all safety procedures are followed during events and guest stays. Qualifications: Experience in overnight accommodations management and housekeeping supervision; private club experience preferred. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and manage high-pressure, fast-paced environments. Flexible schedule including weekends, early mornings, and evenings.
